    CHISINAU, Republic of Moldova--The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Moldova closed its doors to a Shen Yun Performing Arts performance scheduled at the venue this Tuesday, reneging on a contract it had with the show presenter. During the ongoing Shen Yun Performing Arts world tour, following shows in more than 20 countries, the dance company was denied access to the theatre building May 25, the very day the show was to first premiere in The Republic of Moldova.

    The Odessa State Academic Theatre of Musical Comedy in Ukraine is scheduled to host a Shen Yun performance on May 28, 2010. However, the Chinese Consulate has recently exerted pressure on the theatre, which has temporarily halted all ticket sales for the Shen Yun performance. The show's presenter and people from all walks of life are indignant at the Chinese Communist regime's behaviour and look forward to the arrival of Shen Yun Performing Arts.
  • France: Chinese Tourist Appears in Court for Assaulting a "Quit the CCP Service Center" Volunteer

    At one point, a group of Chinese tourists verbally abused Mr Cheng. One of them assaulted Mr. Cheng with a large stone, hitting Mr Cheng on the head and leaving him with a five-centimetre-long wound that came close to his eye. The assailant then overturned the table with materials and speakers on it before being arrested.

The local hosting organisation, the Romanian Falun Dafa Association, had a signed contract with the theatre, and have determined, based on an investigation, that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) influenced Romanian government officials, who made the decision to cancel the planned performance.

  • NTDTV: NTDTV to Appeal Court Decision on Eutelsat Case

    In 2004, NTDTV began broadcasting into China from a satellite owned by French company Eutelsat. In June 2008, Eutelsat terminated NTDTV's broadcast suddenly, saying that several satellite transponders had to be shut down because of technical difficulties. One of these transponders carried NTDTV's 24-hour signal into China. Many believe Eutelsat's decision was politically motivated, with the satellite carrier bowing to pressure from the Chinese communist regime.

Many people are concerned about this and hope that NTDTV will see justice served.

A French court has accepted the lawsuit and a hearing date will be announced. Eutelsat is facing the legal procedure for its betrayal of public trust and responsibility for business contracts, apparently under pressure from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

    Bratislava, June 19 (TASR) - Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) condemn the intervention by Slovak police during protests outside Presidential Palace and demand that police ensure the protection of Slovak citizens and the rule of law, TASR was told on Friday...The organisations added that supporters of the Chinese communist regime and law enforcement forces took complete control of what was going on at Hodza Square, while Slovak police acted only as onlookers of the violence perpetrated by the Chinese (pro-Government) forces.
