Hong Kong: Arrested for Clarifying the Truth in Mainland China, Ms. Liu Ding has been Rescued to Hong Kong
2006-06-30With the efforts from people of all walks of life, Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioner Liu Ding was released on the afternoon of June 22nd, 2006 from a detention centre in Beijing. Liu Ding was illegally detained early this month in Beijing for distributing leaflets supporting the withdrawal of the CCP and its affiliated organisations. After being released, she was immediately escorted by the "police" officers to Beijing Airport. She took the afternoon flight and arrived in Hong Kong in the evening. Before boarding the flight, the police illegally confiscated her China travel document. -

2006-06-25On June 21st, 2006, Dr. Wenyi Wang made an appearance at the United States Court of Appeals. The judge approved the following agreement between Dr. Wang and prosecutors: the charges against Dr. Wang will be postponed until April 2007. As long as she commits no crimes between then and now, the charges will be dropped.
