On July the 17th 2004, an event entitled, "Respect Life and Remember July 20" was held on Chanyang Avenue in front of the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall located in Taipei. This was to commemorate the Falun Gong practitioners who have died from the ruthless persecution. -

On the morning of July 16, 2004, oral arguments in the defamation/civil rights case against the China Press and Singtao Daily were heard in New York's Second Circuit Court of Appeals. The lawsuit was filed by a group of Falun Gong practitioners in the metro New York area. -
Former Wuhan TV Station Director Zhao Zhizhen Sued in the U.S. for Making Propaganda Films Inciting Hatred, Violence, and Genocide Against Falun Gong

On July the 14th 2004, when Zhao Zhizhen was visiting New Haven, Connecticut, he received a summons issued in a U.S. Federal District Court. Zhao Zhizhen is the former Wuhan TV Station Director and the former Wuhan Radio Station Director in Hubei Province, China. Several Falun Gong practitioners filed a class action lawsuit in Federal Court in New Haven, Connecticut on July the 13th. -

From July 3 to July 4, the 2nd Batam Island Falun Dafa experience sharing conference was held in Batam. About 200 practitioners from the local area, Singapore, Malaysia and other regions of Indonesia attended. The conference was very successfully and it concluded with all practitioners singing "Falun Dafa is Great" together. -
Chinese Consulate in Sydney Deprives Falun Dafa Practitioners the Right to Passports

At present, similar instances of depriving Chinese citizens of their passport rights simply because they practise Falun Gong have occurred in at least eighteen countries. We appeal to the United Nations and all governments to help us solve this problem and help stop the brutal persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China.
