Eleven Elderly Practitioners Had Their Lives Cut Short Due to Persecution for Their Falun Gong Beliefs

Ms. Wang Mingying was a 73-year-old housewife who lived in Shandong Province. Before she learned Falun Gong, she suffered from several illnesses. After she started practising Falun Gong, her illnesses vanished, she regained her health and her hair turned black again. After July 20th 1999, when the persecution started, she was inhumanely harassed and threatened and was forced to stop practising Falun Gong. Her old illnesses recurred. At the end of 2000, within a month after their recurrence, she died. -
Older Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms Jiang Meilan of Hunan Province Holds Hunger Strike to Protest Persecution in Baimalong Forced Labour Camp
2005-08-05Dafa practitioner Ms Jiang Meilan, nearly 60 years old, was arrested on March 24th 2005, and sentenced to one year in Baimalong Forced Labour Camp, were she has been tortured. She has been on a hunger strike to protest, but was force-fed and given intravenous solutions. She is now very weak and her life is in danger. The staff of the 610 Office said that they would not release her unless she died in the labour camp. -
Inhuman Torture At the Guizhou Province Women's Labour Camp; Ms. Zhang Yan Died After Brutal Force-Feeding in 2003
2005-08-04Prison staff at the Guizhou Province Women's Labour Camp have committed countless crimes against humanity. Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Guihong was severely tortured and suffered a mental breakdown. Ms. Zhang Yan was tortured over an extended period, and her body was completely emaciated. She was unable to walk and had to be carried to the treatment room to be force-fed. One day near the end of August 2003, she was again taken to the treatment room, restrained, and died immediately after being force-fed. Another practitioner Ms. Zhou was tortured almost to death and then died soon after being taken home. -
Mr. Fu Xinli in Critical Condition, Monitored by 610 Office Agents Around the Clock

On June 16th 2005, the Gestapo-like 610 Office arrested Mr. Fu Xinli and brutally tortured him on the 5th floor of the Zhaoyuan City Police Station. After being tortured he fell from the 5th floor. The fall injured his head, fractured his shoulders and lumbar vertebra and his spleen was also torn. He is now in critical condition. -
Revealing More Information about the Persecution After Reading the Clearwisdom Article, "Former Head of the Shenyang City Judicial Bureau Exposes the 610 Office"
2005-08-04I deeply appreciated former head of the Shenyang City Judicial Bureau, Mr. Han Guangsheng's courage to speak out and expose the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. What he said is true but not quite complete; I want to add more information. In the case of practitioner Ms. Han Tianzi, Mr. Han only mentioned that the police shocked Han Tianzi with electric batons but he did not describe the result of the electric shocks. The fact is, because of the electric shock torture, Han Tianzi was in a coma with a high fever. Her body twitched and jerked and she suffered both bladder and bowel incontinence. -
Zunyi Medical College Graduate Mr. Wu Zhongran Is Suffering Persecution at the Zhongba Labour Camp
2005-08-04Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wu Zhongran graduated from Zunyi Medical College in Guizhou Province. He was sent from a brainwashing class to the Guizhou Zhongba Labour Camp where he is suffering from brutal persecution. His tormentors repeatedly spat into his mouth and forced him to swallow. He is also constantly violently punched, kicked and beaten. Mr. Wu's whole body is full of bruises and even now his legs have not recovered enough for him to walk normally. -
Information on Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Lin Feng from Sichuan Province who was Persecuted to Death
2005-08-03The guards told her family, "We used all sorts of torture methods, but she refused to accept the brainwashing." For remaining steadfast and refusing to disavow her faith in Falun Dafa, Ms. Lin was injected with nerve-damaging drugs, and she suffered a nervous break down. Her entire body was sickened by the effects of the drugs. She suffered severe swelling in parts of her body and was unable to walk. She then suffered kidney failure and was in critical condition. She was sent to hospital, but her health was just too poor. Ms. Lin Died on July 26th 2005. -
Even Though Practitioner Ms. Guo Yinjie Is Refused Admission to a Prison Because the Persecution Ruined Her Health, She Is Kept in Detention

Because of her firm belief in Falun Dafa, she went to Beijing several times to appeal for an end to the persecution. She has been fined, illegally detained and eventually dismissed from her job. Ms. Guo has already experienced a lot of cruel treatment in a detention centre. She was now extremely thin with all her bones visible and her hair turned grey. Ms. Guo's daughter is also currently suffering without her mother. -
An Senbiao from Daqing City Suffers from Severe Loss of Weight and is Tortured to the Verge of Death

38-year-old Mr. An Senbiao was locked up and was forced to put on shackles weighting about 33 lbs. Normally, these shackles were reserved for people facing the death penalty. In the Suihua Forced Labour Camp, Mr. An was burned, pricked with needles, force-fed washing powder, shocked with electric batons, sexually assaulted, and is now on the verge of death. -
School Principal in Qinghai Province Denounced at a Public Meeting and Dies from Abuse Received in Labour Camp
2005-08-03Mr Zhang Youzhen, former principal of Shuidong Elementary School persisted in practising Falun Dafa though he was handcuffed, forced to wear a three-foot sign saying "Crime of interfering with law enforcement." hung on his chest, and humiliated by being paraded in the street. He was sentenced to forced labour, tortured at the Qinghai Provincial Labour Camp, and passed away on June 19, 2003. -
Six Practitioners Who Passed Away As a Result of Persecution
2005-08-0267-year-old Ms. Yang Shuqin started practising Falun Dafa and her stroke, heart disease and arthritis were cured. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa after the persecution started on July 20th 1999 and was arrested. In December 2000 local police station personnel searched her home and took away Falun Dafa books and leaflets exposing the persecution. They arrested her again and jailed her for sixteen days, during which time she suffered ruthless abuse such as slapping her face, pinching her chin and twisting her arms. After she was released, persons from the police station and the residential committee and from her employer often sent people to monitor, abuse and threaten her. Ms. Yang passed away in December 2001. -
Eight Falun Gong Practitioners From Heilongjiang, Jilin, Shandong and Hebei Provinces Who Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-08-02Mr. Li Naijun, 53, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Heilongjiang Province. On January 1st 2001 he was beaten by the police while he was appealing for Falun Dafa on Tiananmen Square in Beijing. His nose was broken, and he bled profusely. Later he was again beaten by policemen at the Beijing Police Bureau. As a result he suffered bloody stools. Later he was sent back to Heilongjiang Province and was detained for two months. Li Naijun suffered physical and mental torture and died in June 2005 due to his nasal injury. -
82 Year Old Retired Teacher, Ms Li Xiuqing from Sichuan Province, Died from Persecution
2005-08-0282-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Xiuqing, a retired teacher from Chengdu City Eighteenth High School in Sichuan Province, went to the Provincial Government to peacefully appeal for Falun Dafa with her fellow practitioners against the huge pressure from the Party. She was arrested and detained in Nanjiao Park in Chengdu City. Ms. Li Xiuqing died on May 22th 2005 after being closely monitored, threatened, and followed by the "610 Office" for a long time. -
Several Practitioners Brutally Persecuted at Jilin Prison - Their Situation is Dire
2005-08-02The guards and officials at Jilin No. 2 Prison have been brutally persecuting unjustly held Falun Dafa practitioners. Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Fengcai is 33 years old, and lived in Fengchan Village, Mingyue Town, Antu County, Jilin Province. He is now being held in the No. 3 Prison Area. On May 13th 2005, Wang Fengcai was subjected to forcible brainwashing. He refused to compromise. The police and three "collaborators" locked him in a solitary confinement cell. Wang Fengcai went on a hunger strike to resist the persecution and became critically ill. He has been sent to Jilin Railway Hospital and is on the verge of death. -
The Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Nanmusi Forced Labour Camp
2005-08-01Each Falun Dafa practitioner detained in Nanmusi Forced Labour Camp was targeted by two or three "personal cangues" - the criminals designated by the police to forcefully control the practitioner's behaviour. The practitioners who do not give in are usually attacked verbally or beaten. They have to stand facing the wall for long periods of time and are deprived of sleep or not allowed to wash their faces or take a shower. Even relieving their bowels is forbidden. Some are persecuted by electric baton shocking or being hung up with their hands cuffed behind their backs.
