The Persecution of Mr. Wang Wei in the First People's Hospital in Nanyang City

Mr. Wang Wei, 36 years old, is a dentist in Nanyang City. In the past few years, the 610 Office and the hospital's director have often harassed Mr. Wang. Wang Wei told them about the goodness of Falun Dafa, and told them of Dafa's ability to heal illnesses and maintain fitness. Even so, on June 15, 2005, Nanyang City First People's Hospital Party secretary tried to force Mr. Wang to write a "guarantee statement" saying he would never practise Falun Gong again. Mr. Wang stood firm and would not write it. At the time, Mr. Wang was on a job, but Liu Kai, in front of the patients, called in hospital security officers to take Mr. Wang away to a brainwashing class. This persecution against a Dafa practitioner was done by the hospital just to placate higher authorities. -
Tortured to Deformity by Local Police and Forced Labour Camp Workers, Xinjiang Practitioner Ms. Gu Ping Dies Untimely Death
2005-07-2428 year-old Ms. Gu Ping was harassed, detained and severely beaten because she practised Falun Dafa. The brutal torture and abuse she suffered while she was in Wulapo Forced Labour Camp caused her emaciated appearance. She also developed symptoms of liver cancer. She was released in June 2003 but still suffered persecution at the hands of the local police. Her body became extremely deformed by torture. She jumped out of a building and died on December 2, 2003. -
Shanghai Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Fa Zhengping in Critical Condition in Forced Labour Camp Hospital
2005-07-23Physics teacher Mr. Fa Zhengping suffered two years of forced labour in 2001-2003. He went through many mental and physical tortures. He was beaten until he vomited blood. He did not fully recover and was still very weak when the police arrested him again in April when he visited another practitioner's house. He was tortured. and his life is in danger now. His blood pressure is 220 mm high, and he has fever of 103 oF. He was sent to a forced labour camp hospital for emergency treatment. The 610 Office still refuses to release him. -
Ms. Wang Huilian, a Young University Lecturer Suffers Brutal Persecution in Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp
2005-07-23Ms. Wang Huilian is a young faculty member of Northeast Normal University in Changchun City, Jilin Province. In March 2004, she was unjustly arrested and sentenced to one and a half years of forced labour. She was detained in Heizuizi Women's Forced Labour Camp, where Ms. Wang has resisted the persecution and refused to do forced labour. She was repeatably denied the right to see her friends who had come to visit her. Time and again the labour camp brought her elderly parents from far away in an attempt to manipulate her by way of emotion so as to "transform" her and force her to give up her belief in Falun Dafa. Now Ms. Wang is on the verge of death because of the persecution. -
Follow up Report on Ms. Zhang Lianxiu, Who Was Beaten to Death by Police in Henan Province
2005-07-23Police went to her home on June 6th, 2005, asking her son, "Does your mother have heart disease?" Her son answered, "No." Police then asked again, "If you say your mother has heart disease, we will let her return home." After thinking it through her son answered, "Yes". The police quickly had him sign his name on a form, after which the police told him, "Your mother has died." Before her body was cremated, Zhang Lianxiu's daughter saw that her body was covered with wounds. She asked loudly, "Just because my mother practised Falun Gong, you beat her to death?" No one dared to answer her question. -
55 Year Old Practitioner Mr. Liang Xiujun from Hebei Province Dies of Persecution
2005-07-23Mr. Liang Xiujun, 55 years old, lived in Zhuozhou City. He was unyielding in his practice of Falun Dafa and told about the goodness of Falun Dafa to the people he met. He was arrested and detained multiple times and was subjected to intensive brainwashing between 2001 and 2003. At the Nanma Brainwashing Centre, he was forced to undertake heavy labour and had money extorted from him. Due to the brutal torture, he was paralysed when he returned home. -
Practitioner Mr. He Yuanhui from Liaoyuan City Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-07-22Falun Gong practitioner Mr. He Yuanhui from Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in October of 2002. He was tormented so harshly while detained in the Second Prison of Jilin Province that he fell critically ill, losing so much weight that he looked like a living skeleton. After Mr. He was sent home from the prison hospital, he was mentally disoriented and he would often forget to dress or eat, and he eventually died on June 25th, 2005. -
Mrs. Xu Hongmei, Separated From Her Baby Girl, Detained In Qiqihar City Labour Camp Beyond Term
2005-07-22Mrs. Xu Hongmei's mother tried to visit her when she learnt where she was. The head of the labour camp would not allow her to see Mrs. Xu and said a lot of bad things. In order to see her daughter, Mrs. Xu's mother turned to some relatives for help, and she finally got a chance to see her daughter. Mrs. Xu had much difficulty walking. Two police officers made sure that they did not get close to each other. They feared she would tell her parents about the torture. The meeting was no more than twenty minutes long. Mrs. Xu Hongmei is still being detained although her term has expired. -
The Persecution of Practitioner Lu Yongchang and His Family: All Four Family Members Sentenced to Long Prison Terms
2005-07-22Around 9 p.m., the whole family went to bed. The flashing lights of a police car woke Lu Guixia up. There was a loud noise as the door was pried open, then the police broke into the house, carrying shovels. Lu Guixia didn't know what was going on and jumped out a window. She was knocked to the ground by police officers that were hiding there. Several policemen beat her savagely and dragged her to a waiting police car. She was taken to the police substation in Jiutai City, where officers were posted to guard her and the other three members of the Lu family. -
How Policewoman Luan Yuqin Persecuted A Female Practitioner in Her 60s for 68 Days
2005-07-22The next day, Luan applied a different torture. She covered my head with a plastic bag and placed a blue plastic bucket over my head. She then continuously beat the plastic bucket over my head with a 60mm long (about 20 inches) wooden baton for a whole morning. She didn't stop beating until she broke the bucket. I remained silent as before. After lunchtime, Luan ordered her group to bring a steel bucket and fill it with books. She told them to hang the bucket from my neck. The book-filled bucket weighed about 10 kilos (22 lbs). They forced me to carry it around my neck the entire afternoon. The steel handle of the bucket, which was as thick as a chopstick, left a deep mark on my neck as thick as a thumb. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Tian Huiying from Guangdong Province Tortured to Death in Sanshui Women's Forced Labour Camp
2005-07-21On February 15, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tian Huiying from Maoming City, Guangdong Province was arrested again. She was tortured in Sanshui Women's Forced Labour Camp until she was emaciated, and died on July 6, 2005. The officials at the labour camp lied to her family, saying that she had been hit by a vehicle inside the labour camp, and that that this was the cause of her death. They compensated her family 30,000 yuan and cremated her body. She left behind three children who are left at home without care. -
In Critical Condition in Detention, Practitioner Mr. Lei Lichun Exposes the Persecution: Wife Forced to Leave Home, Elderly Parents and Two Babies Left Unattended
2005-07-21Mr. Lei Lichun, from Guan'an, Sichuan Province, was arrested in June 2004 and sentenced to four years of imprisonment because of his belief in Falun Dafa. During his imprisonment, Lei Lichun has been mentally and physically tortured so severely that he is currently on the brink of death. His family asked the prison many times to release Lei Lichun. The hospital already issued a notice stating Lei Lichun's critical condition; the prison didn't want to receive him because of his critical condition, and the local detention centre informed the concerned units handling the case from Guan'an to come and take Lei Lichun back. But the concerned units refused the release of Lei Lichun. Presently, Lei Lichun is in a critical situation. -
A Falun Dafa Practitioner in Liaoning Province Reveals Her Suffering at the Hands of the Chinese Communist Party
2005-07-21They also entangled my whole body with plastic wrap, put a cotton cap on my head, and wrapped my face with adhesive tape. They punched two nose holes in the tape with chopsticks, then poured in ethyl alcohol, garlic water, highly concentrated salt water, dirty water, and even urine. During this force-feeding, they pushed a steel bowl that was flattened into my mouth. My mouth was full of blood and my lips swelled up. They also put several dozen hard-shelled insects on my body. They scurried about everywhere all over my body. They caught a big live spider and put it into my mouth. They ruthlessly poured dirty water on my body. By then, my whole body was covered with wounds. -
The Repeated Persecution of Ms Mo Yimei from Yangchun City, Guangdong Province
2005-07-21In June of 2004, several officers drove to Ms. Mo Yimei's fruit shop and tried to force her into their car. Yimei cried out: "The police are seizing good people!" She sat on the floor and many bystanders gathered. Some said, "It is not right to seize people without reason!" "She is a good person, why do they arrest her?" The officers saw that many people were against them, so they fled with their car, leaving Yimei behind. -
Brainwashing Sessions Used to Intensify the Persecution of Practitioners in Hunan Province Women's Prison
2005-07-20These practitioners are forced to carry out slave labour every day. They have to peel broad beans for more than 10 hours every day, leaving them very little time to rest. When some practitioners resisted the slave labour, the prison guards used all kinds of methods to torture them. The practitioners experience intense mental persecution when they are brainwashed day and night.
