Their flyers informed people about the murder, rape and torture that Chinese authorities are using on Falun Gong practitioners. They also let them know details of the practice itself...In the market place people could sign a petition calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. The petition will be sent to the Foreign Minister of Finland.' -

Li Lanqing is the head of the "610 Office", an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems in China. He is being charged with the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. -

Swiss News Agency: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal on the Federal Square of Bern City
2003-07-19On July 12th, over 50 Falun Gong practitioners gathered on Federal Square of Bern City to protest the persecution of their fellow practitioners by the Chinese government. The Falun Gong practitioners who participated in the appeal put a big wreath at the Federal Square to mourn for the victims of the persecution. In silence they then approached the Chinese embassy. -

Thousands of Hong Kong people protested on Wednesday against the government's handling of a controversial anti-subversion bill. The protest followed a 1 July rally when 500,000 people marched to denounce the anti-subversion bill, the biggest protest in the territory since the Tiananmen Square massacre in Beijing in June 1989.
