Bulgaria: “Falun Gong is good! Welcome again to Kazanlak!”
2007-10-30Many people had the chance to meet practitioners and to give their support for stopping the persecution against the practice. Some of the practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises; others gave out leaflets and invited people to sign the petition. Everybody was happy to support this noble cause and to condemn the atrocities done by the regime in China. -
Norway: Global Human Rights Torch Relay Arrives in Oslo
2007-10-30On Saturday the 13th of October, Bislet Stadium, where the Olympic torch was lit during the Winter Olympics in 1952, was again the centre of a torch relay. This time, though, it is the arena for the Global Human Rights Torch Relay. The Torch Relay started in Athens in August this year, one year before the opening of the Olympics in Beijing, and is being passed on to thirty five countries around the globe, with a demand to China to fulfill its promise about respect for human rights. The Torch Relay has received wide support from people, politicians and previous Olympic medalists both in Norway and internationally. -
Belgium: Falun Gong is Popular in Genk City
2007-10-29On October 13th and 14th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the Natural Therapies & Natural Health Expo in Genk City, Belgium, to introduce the benefits of practising Falun Gong to the general public and expose the Chinese Communist regime’s cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
United Kingdom: Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Fine Art Exhibition Held in Plymouth
2007-10-28From October 8th-14th, 20 prints of oil paintings, drawings and Chinese silk paintings from the Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Fine Art Exhibition were displayed at the Desmond Tutu Centre, University College of St Mark and St John, Plymouth. Students and staff at the university were invited to view the paintings and the local newspaper reported on the exhibition. -
Italy: The Truth about Falun Gong Spreads Quickly in Assisi and Perugia
2007-10-28The annual Perugia and Assisi Peace Walk was held on October 7th, 2007. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Falun Gong practitioners raised awareness about Falun Gong and exposed the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners taking place in China by walking with participants from all over the country. -
United Kingdom: A Chinese Practitioner Shares Her Personal Experience of Persecution in a Chinese Labour Camp
2007-10-27Annie, a business woman in her forties, spent one and a half years in a “living hell” - a Chinese forced labour camp - because she refused to renounce her belief in Falun Gong. From October 15th - 19th, 2007, almost exactly one year after being granted asylum in the UK, Annie toured the southwest of England to give a series of talks about what she endured. -
France: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong at the Eiffel Tower
2007-10-27The famous Eiffel Tower in Paris, France attracts tourists from all over the world. This is a good spot for Falun Gong practitioners to spread the truth. On Sunday afternoon on the 21st of October 2007, Falun Gong practitioners held a weekly event here as usual to promote Falun Gong and clarify the facts. As soon as one entered the open Champ de Mars in front of the Tower, the banner with four big letters “Falun Dafa”, which formed a sharp contrast with the blue sky, would meet the eye. The exercise demonstrations attracted spectators. Some exclaimed, “Falun Dafa is good!” -
United Kingdom: Continuous Concern over the Issue of Falun Gong Until the Persecution Stops
2007-10-26Recently a British MP, Mr. Keith Hill, raised the issue of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecuting and harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners in the House of Commons during a three hour debate about the Foreign Affair Committee's annual human rights report. In the debate, Mr. Hill introduced to other MPs what Falun Gong is, the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong and he mentioned a report about the CCP’s practice of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners by Canadian human rights lawyer David Matas and former Canadian Secretary of State David Kilgour. -
Germany: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong at the Frankfurt Book Fair

Falun Gong practitioners held an activity opposite the famous Messe Frankfurt to introduce Falun Gong and expose the Chinese Communist Party’s atrocities of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners. -

Belgium: Before the Europe China Dialogue, European Parliament Focuses on the CCP Human Rights Record
2007-10-22On 10th October 2007, before the human rights dialogue between the EU and China, the European Parliament held a press conference about human rights in China and freedom of belief. It was run by the Vice Chairman of the European Parliament, Edward McMillan-Scott, who requested the CCP to release all Falun Gong practitioners before the dialogue. -
Ireland: “We Will Wake Up People with Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance.”
2007-10-20In downtown Dublin, a ceremony and rally for the arrival of the Human Rights Torch were held. The purpose of the torch relay is to call upon the international society to pay attention to the human rights violations and the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and to ask them to boycott the 2008 Olympics if they are held by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). -
Germany: Opening Ceremony at the Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance International Art Exhibition
2007-10-19The opening ceremony of the “Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance International Art Exhibition” sponsored by Mayor Roland Kern, took place on September 7th 2007 at 7:30pm. Mayor Kern stressed in his opening speech that this incredible exhibition was discussed by the city’s officials under the theme “Art is Tolerant” and allowed to proceed by the members. -
Austria: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in Vienna
2007-10-19On October 14th, Austrian practitioners held an information day at the famous Naschmarkt, a popular market square in Vienna, to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) inhumane persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. The Naschmarkt is where the heart of the Chinese community is, and it attracts a lot of Chinese shoppers on weekends.
