  On July 18th 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Europe called on the European Union and Belgium to take action against the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners then cremating their bodies. The CCP's persecution since July 20th 1999 has led to several thousand deaths, many from torture, and has violated the human rights of millions of Falun Gong practitioners.

  Falun Gong practitioners from Italy held a series of activities in Rome, Venice, Turin and Andorno to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutality. • United Kingdom: UK Practitioners Call on the Singapore Government to Drop Charges Against Falun Gong Practitioners

  UK Falun Gong practitioners handed in a letter to the Singapore High Commission in London on July 20th. They called on Singapore to drop the illegal charges against Falun Gong practitioners and to no longer appease the CCP. UK practitioner Michael, who comes from Singapore, said “I hope that the Singapore Government will drop the illegal charges against Falun Gong practitioners, abide by the country’s laws and respect human rights.”

  The second Finnish Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance International Art Exhibition was held at Galleria Oma Huone on Kalevankatu Street in central Helsinki. The venue for the exhibition was in the city centre and visitors came in a constant stream. The practitioners talking to visitors about the artworks and the background to the persecution were often kept very busy.
