  • Germany: Practitioners Rally in Munich to Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day

    In 1992, on May 13th, the founder of Falun Gong, Mr. Li Hongzhi, started to spread Falun Gong in Changchun. He unsealed people’s Buddha nature, which was hidden for a long time, with the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, and pointed out a cultivation way to return to one’s original, true self.
  • Belgium: Falun Gong Practitioners Celebrate World Dafa Day in Ghent

    On May 13th, Falun Dafa practitioners held activities to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises while children and parents queued for balloons with a message reading "Falun Dafa is good".
  • Germany: Telling the People of Leipzig about the Persecution of Falun Dafa

    On May 13th 2006, to celebrate Falun Dafa Day, German practitioners in Leipzig held an information day downtown to let the local people know about the persecution of Falun Gong. Many pedestrians happily took flyers and earnestly viewed photos. Some people requested to sign their names to support or enquired how to start to practise Falun Gong.
  • Austria: Exhibition of Practitioners' Paintings at Castle Schlaining

    The international “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance” art exhibition can be viewed at Castle Schlaining. Arts and Culture Association “Ars Cara” organised an exhibition of twenty nine paintings and photographs. All artists are practitioners of the spiritual practice Falun Gong, which was banned in China in 1999.
  • Norway: Promoting Falun Gong on Norwegian National Day

    May 17th is Norway's National Day. In every Norwegian city and town, people hold grand celebrations and activities. On this day, Norwegians no matter male or female, no matter old or young dress in beautiful traditional costumes, wave national flags and take to the street to celebrate National Day. This year, practitioners took part too.
  • United Kingdom: Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day in London

    For fourteen years Falun Gong has been spreading in China and abroad by word of mouth, purifying people’s minds and bodies. Now it has spread to nearly eighty countries and regions across the world. The first annual World Falun Dafa Day was held on May 13th, 2000, shortly after the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong.
  • Sweden: Celebrating World Falun Gong Day in Stockholm

    On Saturday May 13th, 2006, Swedish practitioners celebrated the 14th anniversary of Falun Gong’s introduction to the public. Practitioners held a four-hour celebration, with activities including dancing and singing, demonstrations of the Falun Gong exercises, a photo display, art exhibition and paper lotus flower making.
  • Finland: Falun Gong Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day

    On World Falun Dafa Day, Finnish Falun practitioners celebrated in a park in Helsinki city centre and respectfully expressed good wishes for Master’s fifty-fifth birthday. A banner reading “Falun Gong is good” was hung on one side of the park. In front of the banner, practitioners played waist-drums and demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises.
  • Holland: Expressing Support for the Ten Million Withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party

    Falun Gong practitioners gathered in Dam Square in Amsterdam. Along with the service centre for withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party in the Netherlands and the volunteers from the Epoch Times, they expressed support for the ten million brave people who withdrew from the CCP and exposed the CCP crime of taking organ from live people.
  • Germany: Mannheim is Shocked by the Organ Harvesting from Live Falun Gong Practitioners in China

    Practitioners organised an information day in Mannheim. They informed passers-by of the gruesome harvesting of organs from live Falun Gong practitioners in China’s hidden concentration camps, which was perpetrated for economic profit. They told the listeners how the bodies are cremated after the organs are removed so as to destroy all the evidence.
  • Czech Republic: People Call for an End to the Persecution at a Non-Profit Organisation Exhibition

    Falun Gong practitioners took part in a non-profit organisation exhibition held in Prague, the capital of Czech republic. There were leaflets in Czech and English and various kinds of pictures at the Falun Gong exhibition booth. Those leaflets and pictures told people that Falun Gong practitioners are suffering the persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). There are even concentration camps in China where Falun Gong practitioner’s organs are removed while they are still alive.
  • Spain: World Falun Dafa Day Touches the Hearts of People in Victoria

    Practitioners from Madrid went to the ancient city of Victoria, A local told them: “This day is the most significant day in my life, because I found out about Falun Gong. When I knew that Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance are the principles of Falun Gong, I was so excited. I knew this was the truth I have been looking for all my life.”
  • Holland: Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day in Heerlen City

    13th May 2006 was the seventh World Falun Dafa Day and the fourteenth year since the practice was introduced to the public. A set of photo display boards detailed the remarkable history of Falun Dafa and the mercy and compassion of Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa. People who saw these photos could feel the beauty of Falun Gong.
  • Russia: Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day in St. Petersburg

    Practitioners set up picture exhibition boards and banners that attracted many tourists. People listened to practitioners tell them about the persecution and signed their names on the petition to support the campaign calling for an end to the persecution . Two young men who were not Falun Gong practitioners also helped to hold the banners.
  • France: People Condemn the CCP Crimes of Organ Harvesting from Live Persons

    On seeing the pictures of the CCP's campaign of torture and repression against Falun Gong, a lady expressed that it was too cruel for her to accept. She said: “I really don’t understand why the Chinese Government persecutes these practitioners. They just believe in Buddha without doing anything wrong. I can’t accept the fact that good people are being persecuted.”
