United KIngdom: People Express Appreciation for Falun Gong Practitioners’ Efforts to Raise Awareness in Central London

On Saturday July 4 2009, UK Falun Gong practitioners once again went to St Martin’s Square in central London to hold an activity and help more people learn about Falun Gong. As usual, Falun Gong practitioners who participated in the activity demonstrated the five sets of exercises, distributed leaflets, and collected petition signatures to condemn the persecution. -

On August 15, 2009, Falun Gong practitioner Jin Zhaoyu held a signature collecting activity in Pello, northern Finland for her petition to rescue her mother. The event exposed the ten-year long persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), called for the attention of the Finnish public, and hoped to aid in the rescue of her mother, Chen Zhenping and all other illegally imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners in China. -

Denmark: Car Tour Warmly Welcomed Throughout Denmark

From July 27 to August 2, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Denmark went on a car tour around eight major Danish cities outside of Copenhagen to introduce Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, a cultivation practice based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and to raise awareness about the persecution in China.
