Zou Guirong went to Beijing to appeal in 1999. As a result, she was illegally sentenced to 1 1/2 years of forced labour and detained at Fushun City's forced labour camp. Because Zou Guirong refused to give up her faith in [Falun] Dafa, she was tortured by guard Jiang Yongfeng and others. She was later transferred to Masanjia Forced Labour Camp, where she suffered more torture and abuse. After that, she was sent to Zhangshi Forced Labour Camp, where Deputy Director Chen ordered to have her brainwashed around the clock by some former practitioners who had turned against Dafa. They took turns torturing Ms. Zou and didn't allow her to sleep for several days and nights. Because Zou Guirong remained steadfast, she was then transferred to Shenxin Forced Labour Camp, where she protested her illegal detention with a hunger strike. By this point, her original sentence had long expired.
In May 2001, Zou Guirong was sent to Shenyang City's Dabei Underground Jail Hospital, where she was again brutally tortured. When Ms. Zou was on the verge of death on August 10, her family was allowed to take her home. However, another outrage happened. Song Junlin, the Political and Legal Committee Secretary of Xinbin County instigated the local police to break into Ms. Zou's home, took her away by force and secretly transferred her to Fushun City's Wujiabao Forced Labour Camp. Led by vicious Police Division Chief Wu Wei, the guards used all kinds of brutal physical and psychological tortures in an attempt to break down Ms. Zou. Zou Guirong was tortured to death in early April of 2002. This is yet another Falun Gong practitioner who has been tortured to death in Fushun City's forced labour camp, where practitioner Tang Tierong was also tortured to death.
We ask those who know further details of this case to come forward and expose the evil persecution.
