The Horrors of Xiaobali Village Brianwashing School

Xiaobali Village in Tangshan City --an Evil Den for Persecuting the Virtuous

Nearly a hundred Falun Dafa practitioners have been detained at the brainwashing school in the village of Xiaobali (located in Fengrun County near the city of Tangshan, Hebei Province). The staff there use various inhuman means including torture with electric batons (cattle prods), beating, kicking, brutal force-feeding and so on, in attempts to coerce Falun Gong practitioners to give up their cultivation practice. It is well known by the local people, even women and children, that "Bali village" is a place where bad people persecute the good. Villagers living nearby can hear practitioners' blood-curdling screams from the unbearable torture rising from the big courtyard. They hear the yelling and cursing of the evil police as well. Fearing that their evildoings would be exposed, the police recently reinforced the exterior wall and gate. One of them even boasted, "I've got contacts in the underworld. We are brothers. It's no big deal to handle you Falun Gong practitioners!" Day and night, they keep trying to force practitioners to be "brainwashed."

The reasons why the ruffians at "Bali Village" so furiously persecute Falun Dafa practitioners inhumanly can be summarised as follows. First, they are supported by Jiang Zemin's regime so that they feel secure that they have strong government backing. Second, they profit from doing so. All the practitioners illegally detained here were kidnapped. The ruffians extorted money from practitioners and their families, using the money to go wining, dining, whoring and gambling, committing all kinds of crimes. Some of the practitioners were later sent to labour camps or prisons. Some could not bear the excruciatingly painful torture and were coerced into writing guarantee letters (not to practice Falun Dafa). Their families paid ransoms to get them home.

There are still 12 female practitioners detained at Xiaobali Village. Even under the abominable conditions described above, their determination to continue to practice Falun Dafa remains unshakeable.
