Criminal Facts in the Anshan Forced Labor Camp

• The Anshan Forced Labor Camp recently presented a play that slandered Dafa and defamed Dafa practitioners. The directors were Bai Chunyu and Zhang Qianfeng, who used to practice Falun Gong but were brainwashed. They even planned to take the play on tour.

• Zhang Zhenyang, Political Commissar of the Anshan Forced Labor Camp, illegally detained Dafa practitioners for long periods of time, sometimes as long as one year. He also deceived Dafa practitioners' family members. Zhang was appraised by some officials in Liaoning Province as an "Excellent Model in Brainwashing" practitioners.

• The camp made use of strict rules and physical punishment to torture determined Dafa practitioners. The tortures included sitting on a very small stool, being beaten with bamboo plates, being slapped in the face, being deprived of sleep, and not being allowed visits from family members. They forced a group of former practitioners[who had renounced Falun Dafa due to the persecution] to harass one steadfast practitioner at a time. Many determined Dafa practitioners are still detained there.
