Policemen Employ Brutal Methods to Prevent Hunger Strikes

More than 20 Dafa practitioners from various parts of the country were illegally detained in Xicheng District Detention Centre in Beijing. These practitioners went on hunger strike on November 20th to protest the persecution, as well as to help attain the release of all the illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners.

The cruel policemen in Xicheng District Detention Centre, Beijing separated the 20 Dafa practitioners who were on hunger strike and force-fed them by inserting tubes through their noses as well as other unreasonable torture. The Falun Gong practitioners refused to cooperate with the vicious policemen's orders, so they grabbed the practitioners' by their hair and dragged them outside the cells. They tried to force-feed one practitioner for more than 30 minutes, but could not force anything down. After a while, the deputy director of the Xicheng District Detention Centre in Beijing, last name Xie, took it upon himself to force the insertion of the tube into the practitioner's nostril. After the force-feedings, the practitioners were subjected to horrible intravenous drips. If the practitioners still did not cooperate, deputy director Xie would shock the practitioners' hands using electric batons.

Dafa practitioners Liu Li (female) and Hu Yude from Anshan City were sent back to Anshan City by Xicheng District Detention Centre in Beijing. They are currently illegally detained in the Anshan City Detention Centre.
