On the morning of the 16th of December 2005, five Falun Gong practitioners went to the Thai embassy in Israel and met with the assistant to the Ambassador. The meeting was to express the practitioners' concern regarding the incident that, under the Chinese Embassy’s instigation, the Thai police arrested eight Falun Gong practitioners who were holding a peaceful protest outside the Chinese Embassy. Included in the arrests were three underage children aged four and six and a fourteen years old.
Practitioners introduced Falun Gong and the persecution of Falun Gong in China to the assistant, and expressed their concern about the Thai police violating Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights. The assistant promised to send all the related material to Bangkok and keep in contact with the Falun Gong practitioners.
