The 610 brainwashing classes at Changchun Agriculture School, Changchun Xinglongshan are illegally holding 210 Falun Gong practitioners. Over 150 riot policemen are in charge of detaining them.
Recently the Changchun 610 office held an urgent meeting with public security departments, procuratorial departments, people's courts, judicial departments, and police stations. They will soon put the 210 detained practitioners on trial. Each borough court is assigned trial tasks. In addition, each borough police substation will have at least 50 policemen in front of the courthouse to arrest practitioners who distribute Dafa materials and clarify the truth.
On February 21, the Erdao borough court illegally tried Ms. Liang, a female Dafa practitioner.

Legal Education School Sets Up Closed Forced Brainwashing Classes to Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners

The Shanghai Legal Education School was founded especially to forcefully control Falun Gong practitioners' thinking. It is located at Yema Creek, Yu Mountain, Qingpu County, site of the former "Recreation Centre of Shanghai Police Officers," and is south of the "New Criminal Prison." Five terms of classes have been held since the 2001 Lunar New Year.
According to insiders, at the start of the 4th term, changes were made to the instructional staff. They transferred some people experienced in the field of political work that were laid off or ready to retire to the group of "Instructors." The staff was divided into 4 groups including: "Instruction Assistant," "Instructors," and "Logistics." Increasing the staff multiplied the number of practitioners they can attempt to brainwash.
The class adopted a completely closed style to forcefully brainwash the practitioners. Dining and excreting were all confined to the cells. Those Instructors or Assistants watched the practitioners 24 hours a day. Without any personal freedom, practitioners lived every day with criticism and threats. Practitioners were forced to write things like "Promise not to practice" and "Repentant letters." Practitioners could only gain some freedom or be released ahead of schedule if they wrote such things. During each term, some practitioners were sent to Forced Labour camps. In the 4th term, practitioners Wang Mingshan and Ma Yanlai were sent to the forced labour camp. Most practitioners were arrested at either their workplaces or homes, without any legal warrants. Every term of brainwashing classes lasts several months.
Shuanghe Forced Labour Camp in Qiqihar City and Daqing City 610 Office Jointly Persecute Dafa Practitioners
Daqing, Heilongjiang Province
During 2000, many practitioners in Daqing City were illegally arrested and detained. Most of the arrested female practitioners were sent to Shuanghe Forced Labour Camp. The labour camp tried to extort money from Daqing City under the excuse of "improving conditions." In order to persecute Dafa practitioners and force them to give up cultivation, the Daqing City 610 Office collected money and goods from all the work units of the city. The Linyuan Oil Refinement Plant worked closely with the city 610 office. For example, Wang Sheng, head of the refinement plant 610 office, and Han Bingfa, the plant police chief delivered 6 tons of flour, pork, money, and other goods to the city 610 office in November 2000. On Feb 16, 2001, Wang Sheng and his associates went to pick up 4 people who were forced to give up their beliefs from Shuanghe Forced Labour Camp. They brought with them over 10 boxes of fruit as gifts for the Shuanghe Forced Labour Camp staff to thank them for persecuting Dafa practitioners! After their meeting, Wang Sheng invited the managers of the labour camp to a lavish dinner, and squandered over 2000 Yuan [Chinese currency, the average monthly income of an urban worker is about 500 Yuan].
