Explaining the persecution outside the Chinese embassy in Moscow

I would like to share with you an experience of carrying out a single picketing at the Chinese embassy in Moscow. Since July 20th, 2008 after a long break, Moscow disciples finally managed to break through a situation at the embassy and now almost daily, somebody stands there with a poster on the opposite side of the embassy's building, while other disciples perform exercises in a group and send forth righteous thoughts.

On the working days during the week, it is not always easy for disciples to coordinate and yesterday one female disciple, after work at 15.30, Moscow time, came to the embassy with a poster. She was surprised to see a very busy movement of cars and people at the gate of the embassy, especially Chinese people. Right away, a militia man on duty approached her and asked to cancel today's picket due to the carrying out of an important activity at the embassy. According to the disciple, it was a request, not an order, where she was asked to understand his position and he assured her, that tomorrow and during other times, no obstacles will be created from their side etc.
So, this disciple thought, that it is not necessary to enter into a position of struggle and opposition, thus she curtailed her poster and joined the group of disciples performing the exercises.

At this time, another practitioner, during the performance of the first exercise came to another understanding, that it was wrong not to use such a good opportunity for clarifying the truth, especially, judging by the cars, high ranking officials were gathering at the embassy.

She then asked to leave her the poster and approached the embassy. There and then people wearing civilian suits approached her, but now they no longer asked, but instead demanded and threatened with detention, if she would not leave the place immediately. The disciple remained calm and very firmly replied, that she will not leave until she will realize her right to stand in a single picket, and that she does not break any laws. Time went by, pressure amplified, but that practitioner did not move from that place, the militiamen then sent another militiaman on duty to talk to her again. He decided to change his tactics and begun also to talk her out of the picket, or inquired until what time she was planning to stand. He began to persuade her by saying that she already stood there for a little while and it is enough for today, and that they expect an arrival of an honored guest, hinting that senior officials of the country would attend. It appeared that the embassy was celebrating the 59th anniversary of formation of the Peoples Republic of China. That disciple with a smile had said, that it is also very good, that such honored guests will read the poster and learn the truth. For ten minutes she was telling him her reasons for doing that, why repressions in China linger for so long and how it is important for Russia to accept a correct position now. The militia man couldnt say anything and he had to turn back.

After that, the practitioner phoned other disciples and asked for their support, she explained the situation and asked to arrive at the embassy with truth materials. All of us are Dafa Disciples during the Fa Rectification period, we study the Fa and Teacher's lectures daily and we all understand our mission and responsibility. It would seem that nothing can be more important at this moment than to rescue sentient beings, however how difficult it is to be always in a righteous state of mind, to have an unconditional readiness to go and save worldly people at any time of the day. When the calling started, it was already around 19.00 p.m and some disciples have only just come back home from work. I remember, it was not easy to remove human attachments right away and some thoughts "irritated my consciousness", that it is already too late and far away to go to the embassy, you will reach the place only by night, what is the point, why so late? etc.

But... It was also necessary to think of the other disciple, how she would feel when asking for help from fellow practitioners? If nobody offers their support, how would she feel? Especially when I knew that that practitioner at the embassy would do the same for others despite the circumstances without giving it a second thought.

Four of us approached the embassy just as the visitors started to depart. Everyone leaving through the embassy's gate could see and read the poster, many received an information leaflet in Russian and Epoch Times newspaper in Chinese, The Nine Commentaries in Chinese, to some we managed to clarify the truth. I remember one question that was asked: "And it is not the same truth about China which we were just taught at the embassy"? There were many government officials and sportsmen, one even presented me a disk with the record of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in China. He could hardly keep all materials in his hands, which he received as a gift from the Chinese embassy and had asked me for a plastic bag. While assisting him to put everything inside the bag, I had the time to clarify the truth, and it appeared, that he works with the mayor of the city of Moscow.

For me, yesterday's experience of truth clarification was very educative, together with other disciples we have passed a serious xinxing (character) test. Certainly, if we would have found out in advance about this date and activity at the embassy, we would have been better prepared, and taken other materials with us, especially those which we prepare for VIP’s, instead of those that we distribute on the streets, it would be possible to organize more disciples, etc. ... But then the test wouldn’t have had the same effects on us. Now I have understood how important it is to support each other with righteous thoughts and to base our actions on the Fa, instead of on our human hearts. Looking at others acting well, you understand how it should be. I thank fellow disciples that have helped to overcome an attachment to comfort, inertness and laziness which made us do well in this regard and gave us a chance to save many people.
