Ms. Peng Dongjun is a former employee from the Association of Private Enterprises in Anju Town, Tongliang County, Chongqing City. Personnel from the Chinese Communist Party have incited those who don't know the facts about Falun Gong to manipulate, follow, monitor, harass and threaten Ms. Peng since September, 2009. Ms. Peng was previously imprisoned in the Tongliang County Detention Centre where she was brutally tortured. The officials stole her money and belongings and destroyed her personal property.

In February 2000, Ms. Peng and two other local practitioners went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practise Falun Gong. They were arrested and taken to the Tongliang County Detention Centre for imprisonment. Former director Chen Wen (has suffered karmic retribution for persecuting Falun Gong) along with over twenty officers from the Tongliang County Police Department, handcuffed Ms. Peng's hands behind her back and cruelly tortured her.

Wearing military boots, the officers stomped on Ms. Peng's cuffed hands, causing her extreme pain. Both of her shoulders were dislocated and even a year after the torture, her hands were still too weak to work.

The police also whipped Ms. Peng's feet with a steel strip. As a result, her feet were injured with serious bruises. They also whipped her hands until some of police grew exhausted and stopped. They slapped her face and punched her head. They tortured her from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. Later, they cuffed her hands, put shackles on her feet and locked her in solitary confinement.

One day at around 4:00 p.m., section head Chen Minghai, who was specifically in charge of persecuting Falun Gong, along with other officers, ordered Ms. Peng to come with them to her company, the Anju Town Association of Commerce and Industry of Private Enterprises, to hand over her company's account book to someone else. When they arrived, there were many people there including the chief and officers from the Anju Town Police Station, the director from the community office, the head of the Tongliang County Administration of Industry and Commerce, the section head from the individual associations, all of the employees from the Tongliang County Administration of Industry and Commerce and others. They ransacked Ms. Peng's home and confiscated her identification card, Falun Dafa books and other belongings. Supervisor Zhou Fade from Anju asked people to load all of Ms. Peng's property from her home onto a truck and then deliver it to a broken down house which hadn't been repaired for long time. Therefore, all of Ms. Peng's property was destroyed.

According to Chinese law, if no family member is at home, no one is allowed to take private property out of a person's house. The group of police officers not only stole Ms. Peng's 1,700 yuan but also forced her to write a statement saying that she owed the police 4,300 yuan.

Tongliang County Police Station and the Tongliang County Administration of Industry and Commerce fired Ms. Peng without any legal documentation. On March 22nd, in order to incite hatred for Falun Gong, the authorities also announced that all of the county employees working for the Association of Commerce and Industry of private enterprises were fired.

Ms. Peng was held in the detention centre for thirty-seven days. After being released, wherever she went, someone always followed her.

In December 2000, when Ms. Peng again went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practise Falun Gong, she was arrested and later taken back to the Tongliang County Detention Centre where she was detained for a year. During her detention, she was twice tied up, and she paraded through the streets with a slanderous sign hung from her neck to humiliate her. Ms. Peng was beaten and cursed by director Hu Guofeng and guards from the detention centre. Soon afterward she was sentenced to four years of forced labour, and was imprisoned in the Yongchuan Women's Prison in Sichuan Province.

When Ms. Peng was released from prison in 2004, there was nothing of value left in her home. She is now followed, monitored, harassed and threatened by personnel from the Chinese Community Party.
