Officers from the Jiansanjiang Qianjin Farm Police Station arrested Ms. Jiang Xibo, a teacher and Falun Gong practitioner, on September 10th, 2009. Many teachers and students at the high school where Ms. Jiang worked signed petitions calling for her release, indicating that, due to Ms. Jiang's practice of Falun Gong, she had changed significantly for the better.
On September 10th, 2009, near 11 a.m. a deputy police chief of Qianjin Farm, Zhang Wanyong, and the director, Shi Ping, of the local 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) arrived at the Qianjin Farm High School to ask Ms. Jiang's husband (who is also teacher there) to guide them to his home. When he refused to comply, they got the high school principal, Wang Yongze, and a school director, Zhou Yunbin, along with several police officers, to take them to Ms. Jiang's house. They pried open a window and ransacked her home. They took a computer, a printer, and other private items valued at over 6000 yuan1.
Ms. Jiang was taken to the Jiansanjiang Detention Centre on the afternoon of September 10th, 2009. She was beaten severely on September 16th, and was handcuffed and fettered. Her situation looked very bleak.
On November 2nd, her file was sent to the Jiansanjiang Prosecutor's Office. This is her third arrest to date. It is expected that she will be sentenced in the Qianjin Farm Court.
In early 2005 Ms. Jiang and seven other Dafa practitioners in Qianjin Farm were arrested by Wang Weilun, the director of the 610 Office and also a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), using lies, threats, and violence to cause problems among the practitioners. At that time, four outstanding teachers at the Qianjin Farm High School were fired; Ms. Jiang was one of the four. Although many students and their parents wanted to send a petition to higher authorities about this matter, the practitioners there did not want to aggravate the situation and advised them not to petition.
Later, these teachers started a school of their own called "Wende School." The name of the school implies that original Chinese culture and moral character are the focus of the school. The parents and students were very happy with what was taught at the school, and the school also created jobs for the practitioners.
On July 20th, 2008, the director of the local 610 Office, Wang Weilun, and the local police department in Qianjin Farm used the Beijing Olympics as an excuse to close down Wende School. The following day, they arrested the teachers. This was the second time Ms. Jiang was arrested . Many parents were angry and said, "Let's post their deeds in public so that people can see just how evil CCP members are."
