Japan: Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference Held in Osaka

On July 4th, 2010, Falun Gong practitioners in Osaka, Japan held a cultivation experience sharing conference. Twelve practitioners shared their experiences in personal cultivation, participation in projects validating Falun Dafa, explaining the facts of Falun Gong and hosting Shen Yun Performing Arts shows.

Ms. Ai shared her experience in coordinating promotion of the Shen Yun Show at the beginning of this year. After gaining experience in the previous year, she asked more practitioners to join in the promotion and considered others' viewpoints. Thus many more practitioners became active participants. When other teams needed more help, she actively cooperated with the whole project. She shared, "Though I was busy in checking maps, making calls, and observing the local environment, I did not have the same painful experience as before. I had more tolerance and became mature. I think as long as we keep righteous thoughts and do things righteously, we can do Dafa work well."

Ms. Liu stopped practicing Falun Gong after 1999 due to fear. Two years ago, she started practising again. She said emotionally, "Though I have many attachments, I know the importance of cultivation. I will never stop practising Falun Gong again." She lives with her Japanese husband, her mother-in-law and father-in-law. The Catholic family initially did not understand her cultivation. Ms. Liu followed Truth-Compassion-Forbearance in her daily life and explained the facts about Falun Gong to them. She also introduced the Epoch Times newspaper in Japanese to them. They were impressed with the changes in her health and came to support her cultivation. Now her husband has also joined the practice. Her mother-in-law and father-in-law helped her distribute flyers for the Shen Yun show and sold more than ten tickets to people they knew.

A new practitioner was impressed with the experience sharing. He said to his practitioner wife, "From now on, I support your participation in all Falun Gong-related events."

After the experience sharing conference, some practitioners said that the conference broke down barriers between practitioners. They would treasure the cultivation environment and move forward diligently.
