On October 2, Falun Gong practitioners from Austria held a Falun Dafa Information Day in Linz to let people know about the benefits of Falun Gong and the human rights abuses inflicted on practitioners in China by the communist regime.

Many people were attracted to the practitioners' booth, where they learned the facts of the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China, and signed a petition to condemn the persecution. People viewed the display boards. Some people told practitioners that they had heard about Falun Gong before and saw practitioners' activities in other cites.
One gentleman said that he was glad to learn about the persecution before he visited China. He was also interested in learning the exercises, so he went to the exercise site the day after the information day.
Before the end of the activity at 4:00 p.m., many people had learned the the truth about the persecution and several local citizens learned the exercises.
