Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Limin is from Wuhan. She was taken by the guards from a labour camp to Hubei Province Brainwashing Centre in June 2010. She has been tortured to the point of losing vision, having difficulty walking, and extreme weakness, but the brainwashing centre authorities refuse to release her.

Liu Limin was a staff member on the Hubei Province Committee for Disabled Persons, but she lost her job for refusing to renounce her belief in Falun Gong. On July 1st, 2008, she was arrested and taken to Erdaopeng Brainwashing Centre. Ms. Liu firmly believes in Falun Gong and refused to be "transformed" [forcibly renounce Falun Gong]. She was sentence to one and half years in the notorious Hewan Labour Camp in December 2008. At the labour camp, Liu Limin declared her innocence, refused to wear a prison uniform, and refused to do slave labour. She was often beaten savagely, forced to stand for long periods of time, deprived of sleep, deprived of meals, and held in solitary confinement with two inmates monitoring her 24/7.

In June 2010, at the end of her sentence, instead of being released, the guard took her to Hubei Province Brainwashing Centre and continued the endless abuse with the purpose of forcing her to renounce her belief in Falun Gong.

Liu Limin was cursed and beaten, forced to stand for a long period of time and deprived of sleep in the brainwashing centre. She is extremely weak, has difficulty walking, and is losing her vision, but the brainwashing centre authorities are still refusing to release her.
