The Jingzhouyuan Hotel, located in the southwest section of Dahao Village, Tongzhou District, Beijing, is a place the rich and powerful often visit to entertain others and to have fun. However, this building is also the site of a private prison the Chinese Communists in Tongzhou District use to detain and to brainwash Falun Gong practitioners.
The Jingzhouyuan Hotel Transformation (brainwashing) Camp has seven to eight suites. Each of the suites costs 200 yuan1 per day, which is charged to the victims and their families. Food costs them another 60 yuan a day. For each suite, there are typically three security guards, two medical professionals, and two “assistants.” The assistants are often former practitioners who were brainwashed, such as Zhuang Changsong.
The above staff assist seven or eight officials, including Dong, Gao, Zhang, Song and others from the Tongzhou Political and Judiciary Committee and the local 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong). The officials stay there in shifts of two, overseeing the brainwashing process. They often pretend to care about the practitioners, keeping them company and chatting with them. However, they deftly use brainwashing techniques to interfere with the practitioners' belief in Falun Gong, while the threat of brutality is ever present from the guards and medical staff.
The Jingzhouyuan Hotel has no name plate on its building. Since Chinese Communists began persecuting Falun Gong in July 1999, many innocent Falun Gong practitioners from different walks of life have been taken to this place for brainwashing.
