Mr. Chi Minbao from Linjiang City, Jilin Province, has been detained in Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City for two years. His term expired in September, 2011, but the labour camp officials have extended his term twice.

Mr. Chi was arrested in September 2009 by Linjiang Domestic Security Division head Shi Dengfeng and others. He was sentenced to two years of forced labour. He was first taken to Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp in Jilin City, and later transferred to Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City in the spring of 2011.

Mr. Chi's term expired in September 2011, but was extended by 21 days, and later by one month.

Division No. 2 head physically abused and tortured Mr. Chi in early October 2011, in an attempt to to “reform” [forcibly renounce Falun Gong] him.
