Mr. Meng Xianqiang Tortured in Zhangqiu Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province

Nearly thirty Falun Gong practitioners are being detained in the Seventh Team at Zhangqiu Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province. Guards Luo Guangrong, Wang Xinjiang, Shen Xijun and Wang Dehua are directly involved in torturing practitioners and inciting inmates to torture them.

Wang often got inmate Liu Jun to force Mr. Meng Xianqiang from Changle County in Shandong to write a guarantee statement to renounce his belief. Liu once kicked Mr. Meng in the legs until they bled. Due to the long term torture, his throat was damaged and he had difficulty in breathing. But Wang still forced him to work. They were only allowed to use the toilet once in the workplace, at a designated time, during the whole morning. Their drinking water had often not been boiled and many people had diarrhoea after drinking it. Mr. Meng told the guards that he could not work because of his physical condition, but Wang ordered others to drag him to work.

When Mr. Meng requested to see the doctor, Wang took him to the office. He first poured water over him, and then Wang and guards Luo Guangrong, Wang Xinjiang and Shen Xijun took turns shocking Mr. Meng with high voltage electric batons. Wang Dehua also struck his face and head with the soles of his shoes. He said, “If you don't do your work well, we will harvest your organs while you are still alive.” Wang Dehua had said this many times before.

In September 2011, Mr. Meng had difficulty in breathing and had blood in his saliva. After taking an x-ray in the clinic, the nurse told him that he had severe bronchitis. After the medical treatment that they gave him failed to improve his health, officials at the labour camp notified officials at Changle County 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) to collect him and take him home.

Mr. Wu Shandong from Jiyang City in Shandong has now been transferred to the Third Team of the labour camp. This place is said to be the most brutal in the camp.
