• Belgium: Falun Gong Practitioners in Europe Call on the European Union to Condemn the CCP's Live Organ Removal

  On July 18th 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Europe called on the European Union and Belgium to take action against the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners then cremating their bodies. The CCP's persecution since July 20th 1999 has led to several thousand deaths, many from torture, and has violated the human rights of millions of Falun Gong practitioners.

• Italy: Falun Gong Practitioners fHold Activities Calling for an End to CCP's Brutality

  Falun Gong practitioners from Italy held a series of activities in Rome, Venice, Turin and Andorno to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutality. Practitioners re-enacted the CCP's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, which shocked many people. Many people signed their names on the petition calling for an end to the persecution.

• United Kingdom: UK Practitioners Call on the Singapore Government to Drop Charges Against Falun Gong Practitioners

  UK Falun Gong practitioners handed in a letter to the Singapore High Commission in London on July 20th. They called on Singapore to drop the illegal charges against Falun Gong practitioners and to no longer appease the CCP. UK practitioner Michael, who comes from Singapore, said “I hope that the Singapore Government will drop the illegal charges against Falun Gong practitioners, abide by the country’s laws and respect human rights.”

• Switzerland: Letting Overseas Chinese Know the Truth about Falun Gong

  Ms Pan and Mr. Yang, an elderly Chinese couple living in Bern, Switzerland started to practice Falun Gong. After the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party began in 1999, they have taken every opportunity to explain the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong when meeting other Chinese. • United Kingdom: Seminar in Houses of Parliament Discusses CCP’s Organ Harvesting Crimes

  On Monday 18th July, a seminar was held in the Houses of Parliament in London to talk about the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The seminar was chaired by Lord Thurlow and one of the main speakers was David Kilgour, a former Canadian Secretary of State who recently published a report confirming that the Chinese Communist Party has been harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners.

• Finland: Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance International Art Exhibition held in Helsinki

  The second Finnish Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance International Art Exhibition was held at Galleria Oma Huone on Kalevankatu Street in central Helsinki. The venue for the exhibition was in the city centre and visitors came in a constant stream. The practitioners talking to visitors about the artworks and the background to the persecution were often kept very busy.

• Czech Republic: CCP Trade in Organs Harvested from Falun Gong Practitioners Publicised in Central Prague

  To mark International Day against Torture, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in the centre of the Czech capital, Prague. Passers-by were reminded that the torture of innocent people is still taking place in many parts of today’s world. One facet of the activities was a demonstration of some of the the torture methods used in China on prisoners of conscience.

  On June 15th 2006, the Czech version of Zhuan Falun was officially published, and is now available in bookstores across the Czech Republic. Zhuan Falun is the primary text among the thirty plus books published by Mr. Li Hongzhi. The publication of Zhuan Falun was preceded by a second translation of the introductory book Falun Gong.
