  • United Kingdom: Protesting the 12-year Persecution of Falun Gong at Trafalgar Square

    On July 16, 2011, Saturday, Falun Gong practitioners in the UK came to famous Trafalgar Square in London to commemorate the 12th anniversary of protesting the CCP's persecution. They wanted to help more people learn the facts about Falun Gong, and called on people from all walks of life together to stop the persecution.
  • Ukraine: Practitioners Protest the Persecution in Front of the Chinese Embassy

    On the afternoon of July 20, 2011, Ukraine Falun Gong practitioners held activities in front of the Chinese Embassy in the capital city of Kiev to protest the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of the practice. Several practitioners stood in rows and demonstrated the five graceful Falun Gong exercises on the pavement across from the Chinese Embassy.
  • Poland: Signature Collection in Wroclaw to Protest the Persecution of Falun Gong

    On July 9 and 10, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners from Poland gathered in Wroclaw City and introduced Falun Dafa to the local people. Wroclaw is the fourth largest city in southwest Poland. Before World War II, Wroclaw was famous as both a commercial and industrial city as well as a culturally German city.
  • European Members of Parliament Write to Support Falun Gong

    The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has lasted 12 years since it started on July 20, 1999. On July 20, Members of the European Parliament, Zuzana Roithova and Ana Gomes, wrote letters to Falun Gong practitioners to condemn the CCP's persecution and express their support to Falun Gong practitioners.
  • United Kingdom: Commemorating 12 Years of Persecution on Trafalgar Square

    On Saturday 16th July an activity was held in Trafalgar Square, London, to commemorate 12 years of persecution against Falun Gong in China. The Chinese Communist Party publicly launched a widescale campaign of human rights abuses against Falun Gong in July 1999.

  • Finland: Raising Awareness about Falun Dafa in Helsinki's Esplanade Park

    Finland Falun Dafa practitioners held activities in Esplanade Park in Helsinki on July 2, 2011. They introduced Falun Dafa, also called Falun Gong, and raised awareness about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) that has continued for twelve years.
  • Italy: Introducing Falun Gong in a Local Gymnasium in Padova

    On June 17, 2011, local practitioners from the region of Veneto introduced Falun Gong at the “Power Gym” facility in Padova, after being invited by the CESN (National Centre for Sport and Education in Italy). Practitioners explained how Falun Gong had become the most popular Qigong practice within only a few years of being introduced to the public in China in May 1992.
  • United Kingdom: Oxford City Councillor says, 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Very Good'

    On July 3, 2001, Sunday, the Cowley Road Carnival presented “Carnival in the Park” in South Park, Oxford. Local Falun Gong practitioners, who were invited to join the event, set up a booth to demonstrate the exercises, introduce Falun Gong, and expose the CCP's brutal persecution of the practice.
  • Italy: Falun Gong Draws Attention at Multicultural Festival in Milan

    During the two weekends from the end of June to early July, Falun Gong practitioners in Milan, Italy, were invited to take part in local community events organized by the Festival Delle Diversita. The Falun Gong information booth attracted many people of different races to come and learn about the practice. People signed the petition protesting the persecution.
  • Finland: Member of European Parliament Calls for Support for Falun Gong

    The 12th World Village Festival in Helsinki was held on May 28 and 29. This year, Ms. Heidi Hautala, a Member of European Parliament (MEP) and the chair of its Subcommittee on Human Rights, was invited by the organiser to give a speech, in which she called for support for Falun Gong practitioners who are being persecuted in China.
  • Iceland: Foreign Affairs Minister Apologises to Falun Gong Practitioners

    Ossur Skarphedinsson, Minister of Foreign Affairs, recently apologised on behalf of the Icelandic Government for the treatment that Falun Gong practitioners endured in relation with the Chinese president's visit to Iceland in the summer of 2002.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Welcomed at the City of Dortmund International Arts & Culture Week

    From May 28, Dortmund celebrated "International Arts & Culture Week". Falun Gong practitioners participated in the opening ceremonies and in the exhibitions. The Falun Gong booth was only 20 metres away from the central stage. Practitioners originally from China, Germany, and Russia introduced Falun Gong to the visitors.
  • Italy: A Falun Gong Activity and Press Conference in Rome

    On June 1, 2011, the Twelfth District government in Rome and Falun Gong practitioners jointly held an activity entitled "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong" at the District Government Conference Hall. As a district government representative, Mr. Peter Roan Angelo Massaro, Chairman of the Sports and Culture Committee, attended the event.
  • Switzerland: The Art of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Exhibition Held in Frauenfeld

    The Art of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance exhibition was held at the Glaspalast administration building in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. The exhibition lasted for two weeks between April 29 and May 14, 2011, attracting many people from all walks of life.
