Taiwan: Day-long Fa Study and Experience Sharing Conference Held Every Three Months in Southern Taiwan

On January 20th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners in southern Taiwan held a one-day Fa study and experience sharing conference in the Kaohsiung Municipal Siao Gang Senior High School. About 1000 practitioners joined the conference and shared their recent thoughts on the practice. -

January 19th, 2008, was National Firefighters Day in Taiwan. The Fire Bureau in Taipei hosted a series of activities to celebrate the event. The Divine Land Marching Band in Taiwan and the NTDTV Drum Team were invited to perform at the celebrations. -

On January 21st, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners from Houston Texas participated in the Martin Luther King Day Parade in Houston. The parade consisted of more than 100 groups. The Falun Gong practitioners' entry consisted of the Divine Land Marching Band, a float and an anti-torture exhibition. -

Loren Kori, secretary for a workers union, and her husband, John Kori, told a reporter that they both enjoyed the show very much. Loren said the piece which described the persecution of Falun Gong deeply touched her heart. -

She did so, in her election campaign headquarters, to express her protest of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong. She also asked the world's people to bravely step forward to stop this persecution. -

On January 13th, the Chunghsing Commerce Association in Miaoli held an inauguration ceremony for the Art Centre Building. Local Falun Gong practitioners were invited to demonstrate the exercises at the ceremony. Mr. Ku Wenhsiung from the association issued a Letter of Appreciation to the practitioners.
