At 11:20 p.m. on November 15th, 2007, Gao Jinying and her husband Liu Baochun, two Falun Gong practitioners from China, arrived at JFK International Airport in New York via Thailand. Ms. Gao and Mr. Liu are UN refugees. Based on humanitarian concerns, the United States government accepted the two practitioners who have been relentlessly persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. -

Recently, the Minghui School Waist Drum Troupe, composed of children ranging in age from 5 to 13, was invited to perform at the opening ceremony of the 30th anniversary of Wanda Elementary School in Taipei. The performance won an appreciation award from school. -

On November 11th, 2007, the annual Veteran's Day Parade took place on 5th Avenue between 23rd and 56th streets in Manhattan, New York City. Soldiers and military vehicles of the US Army, Navy, and Air Force participated in the parade to celebrate the holiday. The Falun Dafa group was also in the parade and was warmly welcomed by the New Yorkers. -
