2007-01-07On December 31st, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Japan held a candlelight vigil in memory of 3000 fellow practitioners persecuted to death during the seven-year long persecution. The vigil took place in front of the Chinese Embassy. They also condemned the Chinese Communist Party's brutality. -

2007-01-04Central Radio Broadcasting Station reported on December 28th, 2006 that the Asia Delegation of the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) was established on December 10th, International Human Rights Day. The delegation held press conferences in Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Macao, respectively, on the morning of December 19th. They declared their request to the international community and wrote letters to Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao and Secretary Luo Gan of the Political and Judicial Committee. -
