2006-12-03The trial couldn't even be called a secret trial. It was a puppet show in essence. The court was under high pressure from the Singapore government to close the case. Everyone in the court, including the judge, prosecutor and even police officers, cooperated with each other closely to achieve this goal. They strictly limited witnesses and evidence. A criminal trial should be based on witnesses and evidence. A trial cannot be conducted without these elements. -

2006-11-29On November 23rd, 2006, Xiao Zhonghua, a representative of the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG) and Peter Westmore, president of the National Civic Council and the leader of CIPFG in Victoria, wrote to Liang Shugen, the Chinese Consul in Melbourne, asking the Chinese Communist Party to stop the persecution against Falun Gong and to stop the harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners. The representatives from CIPFG also requested assistance in organising an investigation in China. -
