Open Letter from New Tang Dynasty TV Regarding the Inaugural Chinese New Year Global Gala
2004-01-13On the Eve of the New Year, as NTDTV and other Chinese organisations and individuals are preparing for the Inaugural Chinese New Year Global Gala, officials from the Chinese Consulates have been making the rounds to verbally attack NTDTV and the Gala. The Chinese Consulates' unreasonable, irrational interference with an organisation legally incorporated in the United States and other countries is highly unbefitting of their diplomatic status. In addition, this attempt to go outside China to extend their censorship of media oversteps bounds and looks backward, rather than forward. -
United States: Letter to President Bush from UCLA Student Organizations Concerning the Detention of Charles Lee in China
2004-01-13In October 2003, the Undergraduate Student Association Council (USAC, a student government) at UCLA voted 11-0 to co-sign a letter to President Bush concerning the detention of Dr. Charles Lee. The letter was also signed by the President of LASA, the Latino American Students Association at UCLA, and the President and the entire Amnesty International club at UCLA. The letter was initiated by the Falun Gong club at UCLA. -

On the morning of January 4, 2004, Ipoh City, Perak State held a parade with the theme, "Bougainvillea," which is the city flower of Ipoh. 35 groups participated the 3.1 km long parade. Falun practitioners also participated and displayed the beauty of Dafa to Ipoh residence. -
