Belated Report: Taiwan National Bar Association Publishes Resolution to Support the Lawsuit against Jiang Zemin
2004-03-16The Taiwan National Bar Association, the largest association in the Taiwanese legal arena, published a resolution on October the 25th 2003 to support Falun Gong practitioners' global lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, the head persecutor in China against Falun Gong practitioners. The Taiwan National Bar Association also urges China to immediately release all illegally incarcerated Taiwanese Falun Gong practitioners back to Taiwan. -
Hong Kong Falun Gong Practitioners Release a Statement Concerning the Slanderous Report Published in the Hong Kong Newspaper Wen Wei Po
2004-03-15On February the 24th 2004, Wen Wei Po, a Hong Kong newspaper, published a half-page article maliciously attacking Falun Gong practitioners' activities of clarifying the truth in Hong Kong. The purpose of this article was to create media pressure, to defame Falun Gong and Falun Gong practitioners, as well as to pressure the Hong Kong government into employing more strict measures to suppress Falun Gong. -

An Overview of Legal Cases Filed by Falun Gong Practitioners Around the World
2004-03-09Jiang Zemin and his followers have persecuted Falun Gong for four years, and have taken the precious lives of at least 901 good, innocent Falun Gong practitioners. Over one hundred million Falun Gong practitioners who practice "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" along with their family members have been brutally persecuted. In addition, Jiang's group has also extended the persecution to overseas countries, creating different degrees of damage to Falun Gong practitioners in many Western countries. Central News Agency: U.S. House of Representatives Passes Resolution Urging the Administration to Condemn China for Human Rights Abuses
2004-03-08The resolution of House of Representatives pointed out that the Chinese government signed a pact with the U.S. government, promising to improve human rights conditions. The U.S. government had reasons to believe Beijing was sincere in wanting to improve human rights, therefore the U.S. government didn't propose a resolution for the first time to condemn China at the earlier UN meeting. However, in the past year human rights conditions in China did not improve, they regressed. It is therefore necessary to condemn China with a resolution and to ask China to make solid changes. -
