Mr Meng Jixiang and His Son-in-Law Are Tortured to Death in Forced Labour Camps

Tianjin City Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Meng Jixiang (56 years old) and his son-in-law were tortured to death in Qingpowa and Banqiao Forced Labour Camps, respectively. In 2002, Mr Meng was abducted by police, merely because he practises Falun Dafa. His son in law went to find out his whereabouts, was seized and sent to a forced labour camp, where he was savagely beaten to death. Mr Meng was also tortured to death in early 2004. -
Lawsuit Against the Authorities of the Central Transportation Company of the Shengli Oil Field Management Bureau for Their Extended Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners
2005-01-04Since July 20, 1999, authorities of the Central Transportation Company, have abused their power and ignored the laws while conducting an extended persecution of practitioners. The perpetrators have used illegal methods such as detention, beatings, extortion, harassment, ransacking homes, withholding pay, dismissal from professional positions, limiting personal freedom, forced labour camp sentences, brainwashing, and force-feeding. Their crimes have seriously violated these citizens' basic human rights, restricted their personal freedom, taken away their property and money, and sorely injured them and their families. -
Fearing Exposure, Forced Labour Camp and Prison Officials Refuse to Release Practitioners Who Have Been Persecuted to the Brink of Death
2005-01-04Since the persecution of Falun Dafa began in July 1999, guards and police in China's forced labour camps and prisons have tortured many illegally imprisoned practitioners to the brink of death because they refused to give up their belief in Falun Dafa. They do not release the injured practitioners earlier because they are afraid the practitioners will expose the crimes at the camps and prisons. They often release practitioners just when they are about to die, to prevent the death from being counted in the prison or labour camp statistics. They also hope to hide their evil conduct. This is the typical Communist Party pattern of "untruthful, evil and violent" behaviour. -
Falun Dafa Practitioners Ms Yu Xiuying from Hebei Province and Ms Liang Guirong from Sichuan Province Died as the Result of the Persecution
2005-01-0350 year old Ms. Yu Xiuying from Hebei Province was healed of breast cancer through Falun Dafa practice. However due to intense brainwashing, torture and harassment by police, the cancer that had been in remission came back. Unfortunately she died on November 2, 2004. 36 year old Ms. Liang Guirong lived in Sichuan Province. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in 2000, was arrested in Tiananmen Square and tortured beyond recognition. She died on May 13th 2002. -
Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wei Xu of Gansu Province Has Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-01-03Mr. Wei Xu, 66 years old was detained in a Detox Centre for over a year because of his participation in Falun Gong truth-clarifying activities. As a result of the physical and mental torture he endured, he suffered a recurrence of the severe high blood pressure and leukemia, which had been cured previously by his practice of Falun Gong. Because of frequent harassment from the local police, Mr. Wei's condition worsened and he passed away at the end of October 2004. -
Practitioner Ms Jiang Cuilan Tortured to Near Death in Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp
2005-01-03Ms. Jiang Cuilan, 58, from Hebei Province has been persecuted for the past few years for practising Falun Gong. On October 2004, the police abducted her and took her to the Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp in Baoding City. Continuous torture has emaciated Ms. Jiang and put her life in danger. -
The Brutal Beatings and Torture I Experienced in Dabei Female Prison
2005-01-03“My name is Zhang Wei. I was unjustly sentenced and sent to the Dabei Women's Prison in Shenyang City just because I practise Falun Gong. In the prison, I was subjected to unbelievable physical and mental torment. The prison has become the tool of a brutal dictatorship. She was chosen as one of the "Top Ten Young Police Officers" in Sichuan Province for her active participation in the vicious persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. Qiqihar City Practitioner Li Huifeng Appeals to Court Regarding Persecution He Experienced
2004-12-29On January 22, 2001, Qiqihar City Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Huifeng was taken away by the police. In July 2001, he was charged and sentenced to 12 years in prison by the Jianhua District Court. Mr. Li appealed to a higher court according to the law, but the Qiqihar Mid-level Court went so far as to write in their verdict that Mr. Li accepted the initial ruling and withdrew his appeal. -
Practitioner Yang Guang in Changchun Is Cruelly Tortured and Imprisoned in the "Naked Area" of Jilin Prison
2004-12-28Yang Guang is a Falun Dafa practitioner in his fifties from Changchun City, Jilin Province. Because he upheld his belief in Falun Dafa, authorities illegally sentenced him to a long prison term. The seventh office of the Changchun Police Department attempted to extort a confession from him by cruelly torturing him. Police beat and tortured him, and eventually broke his right leg. Mr. Yang's thigh bone became numb and he was paralysed. -
Ms. Liu Guohua Passed Away in February 2004 Due to Stress from Long-Term Persecution
2004-12-26Ms. Liu Guohua, 61, the wife of retired Beijing Machine Tool Institute employee, Ge Peijun, passed away on February 28, 2004. Both Liu Guohua and her husband were arrested and jailed for more than a month before being released.Her death was the result of being frequently harassed by the authorities, and by her husband's persecution in a labour camp. These caused her long-term mental stress, which led to the recurrence of an old illness. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Liu Ziwei Dies from Torture at Changchun City's Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp
2004-12-26Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liu Ziwei from Jilin Province was sent to the Changchun City Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp on October12, 2004. He had been on a hunger strike the whole time so as to protest his unjust incarceration, and suffered inhuman tortures including being confined in a solitary compartment, force-feeding and a method called the "Big Hang Up", because he remained firm in his belief. Liu Ziwei died as a result of torture on December 13, 2004. -
55 Year Old Outstanding Teacher Ms. Zhang Chunlan Died as a Result of Torture at Dalian City's Forced Labour Camp - Belated News
2004-12-26Ms. Zhang Chunlan was 55 year old outstanding teacher from Liaoning Province. As she was persistent in practising Falun Dafa, Zhang Chunlan was sentenced to forced labour for two years and was sent to Dalian City Forced Labour Camp. She was forced to do heavy labour, and the living conditions there were extremely terrible. Under these conditions, and being isolated from the outside world, her health was seriously damaged. Ms. Zhang's weight dropped to about 34 kilos (75 pounds) from about 70 kilos (154 pounds). She died tragically on August 29, 2003. -
Practitioner Ms. Liu Lianfeng from the Chaoyang District of Beijing Was Tortured to Death in 2001
2004-12-25Ms. Liu Lianfeng, 43 years old, was a practitioner from Chaoyang District of Beijing. In July 2000, Sunhe Town Police sent her to the Chaoyang Detention Centre where she was tortured into unconsciousness and taken to hospital. In the hospital, she was injected with unknown drugs and became paralyzed and bedridden. The torturers released her, after recognizing the severity of her condition, on home-detention. On October 20 2001, she passed away due to the persecution. -
67 Year Old Ms. Zhang Yunan from Jilin Province Died as a Result of Police Harassment in 2001
2004-12-25Ms. Zhang Yunan, who was from Changchun City, Jilin Province, became healthy from practising Falun Dafa, but, since the persecution began in 1999, she became fearful because of harassment from the police. Because of the long term mental torment and continued threats, she did not dare to practise Falun Gong. She died as a result of the persecution at the beginning of 2001.
