Ms. Zhang Yuling, from Gansu Province Tortured to Death in 2002

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Yuling was arrested in October 2001, while distributing truth-clarification materials in Ningxia Province. Later her home was ransacked and her husband divorced her under pressure from the authorities. She was later jailed for six months and tortured severely. Ms. Zhang's health seriously deteriorated. However, the detention centre only released her when she was on the verge of death. Ms. Zhang's family rushed her to the hospital. However, despite rescue efforts, she passed away in December 2002, at the age of 30. The police tried all means to shirk their responsibility for her death. -
Investigating the Death of Falun Gong Practitioner Zhao Wenyu

Zhao Wenyu was a Falun Gong practitioner in Hebei Province. She had been arrested many times for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and appealing. During detention, she suffered torture, brutal beatings and mental torment from coercive brainwashing. On February 3, 2004, when trying to escape illegal arrest by the police, she fell from a building. -

2005-01-11Two elderly Falun Gong practitioners were both imprisoned at Chongqing City Xishanping Forced Labour Camp because they stood up for what they believed in - Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance. They were mercilessly persecuted: 59 year old Mr. Wang Jicheng, was released on bail for medical treatment, yet after returning home in October 2003, Mr. Wang's health was constantly in a critical condition. He finally passed away on November 30, 2004. 60 year old Mr Xu Congxin passed away on July 19, 2003 as a result of torture he suffered. -
Police in Sichuan Province Force a Six-months Pregnant Practitioner to Have an Abortion
2005-01-11A young pregnant woman from Sichuan Province was forced by police to abort her six-month-old unborn baby without her family being notified. The woman was then sentenced to seven years in prison. In November 1999, when the police were ransacking the home of an elderly teacher, they did not spare searching the bed on which her daughter was recovering during her maternity leave. The daughter, who is not a practitioner, had just given birth to her child and she has not yet recovered from the mental trauma of that day. -
Chengdu Detention Centre Transfers Practitioners to Deceive United Nations Human Rights Inspection Team
2005-01-11On September 24, 2004, the officer of a brainwashing class in Chengdu, Sichuan Province stated that a United Nations Human Rights team would come for an inspection. Fearing that the Falun Dafa practitioners would expose the facts of the persecution they received, the officer transferred all practitioners who would speak up and had refused to wear a prison uniform. Some of the practitioners were sent to Yangmahe Women's Prison in Jianyang City and some were sent to Longquanyi Prison in Chengdu. -

Several female criminal inmates held down Ms Zhang Buyuan's hands and feet, pinched her nose, placed a toothbrush between her teeth, and another inmate pressed her knee on Zhang Buyuan's chest. Zhang Buyuan was thus forced-fed a mixture of steamed bun crumb or corn flour with large amounts of salt and soup. -
Husband Becomes Blind, Nine-Month-Pregnant Wife Injected with Drugs to Induce Premature Birth, Four-Year-Old Son Kidnapped
2005-01-10Since Jiang Zemin's regime started persecuting Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999, the formerly happy Song family has suffered greatly. They were both detained in detention centres and endured many hardships. Mr. Song lost his vision, his nine-month-pregnant wife was injected with drugs to induce premature birth, and police abducted their four-year-old son. Nothing has been heard of their son. -
Daqing Prison Sends Pursuit Team to Locate and Arrest Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhong

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhong from Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province was emaciated and on the verge of death as a result of the tortures he suffered in Daqing Prison. After Mr. Zhang exposed these crimes on the Internet, Daqing Prison authorities became enraged and dispatched a pursuit team to arrest him. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Wang Baozhen from Hebei Province Died from Persecution in 2003
2005-01-0969 year old Mr. Wang Baozhen from Hebei Province went to Beijing to peacefully appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa and deliver truth-clarifying materials. As a result his entire family was taken into custody at a detention centre and held for slave labour. Later, in 2001 Mr. Wang's family and some other local Falun Dafa practitioners were forced into exile as a result of police roundups. His two sons were arrested at his home in 2001 and 2002 respectively. Under the weight of the local authorities' persecution, Mr. Wang died at his home in February 2003. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Ms Li Guimin Tortured to Death in 2002; Whereabouts of Her Two Children Remain Unknown
2005-01-09Falun Gong practitioner Li Guimin lived in Hebei Province. In 2001, she was sentenced to 8 years in prison. While in detention, Li went on a hunger strike to protest the detention. Police, led by the detention centre director, brutally force-fed her by pouring food directly into her mouth. The food was inhaled into her lungs. The police didn't stop their brutal acts until her lungs bled and she passed out. Only then did they send her to the county hospital. Li died in the hospital on March 1, 2002. When she died, blood was oozing out from her nose and mouth. -
More Information on the Torture Death of Practitioner Mr Sui Futao from Jilin Province
2005-01-09Mr. Sui Futao, 28, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Jilin Province. On April 30, 2002, he died after being subjected to the "sitting stool" torture in Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City. "Sitting stool" is a type of torture employed by the labour camp, where one has to sit on a small stool with triangular ridges in the same position every day for twelve to twenty hours, and not allowed to move even a bit. Everyone who has been subjected to such torture has suffered from injury to the buttocks and partial paralysis of the body. -
Tortures I Suffered in Beijing

On January 9, 2001, I travelled to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in Tiananmen Square. I was arrested. The same night, at 10 pm, I was interrogated and was brutally tortured. The police officer attempted to gag my mouth with a rag for polishing shoes, but failed. The chain came loose and I fell to the ground. He then viciously kicked me. -
65 Year Old Retired Teacher Ms. Wang Tingfang of Shanxi Province Dies from Persecution
2005-01-0865 year old retired teacher, Ms. Wang Tingfang, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shanxi Province, was unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labour for her belief in Falun Dafa. Following orders issued by the director of the 610 Office, the principal of her former school suspended her pension benefits for twenty-four months, totalling over 24,000 yuan. Officials continued to harass her after she was released until her health deteriorated and she died in March 2004.
