The Torture Experienced by Practitioner Ms. Zhang Sufang from Henan Province

I went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing three separate times. I was immediately taken to the Chaoyang District Detention Centre, where I suffered from all types of torture. The guards ordered four criminals to beat me and to rip off my clothes. Only my underclothes were left on. Then they punched and kicked me while wearing their leather shoes for more than three hours. My whole body was black and blue. I was spitting up blood, and I fell on the ground. I was also force-fed with pepper water. -
Ms Li Guiqin Tortured in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province
2006-10-30On October 30th, 2002, Ms. Li Guiqin was sentenced to three years of forced labour and was taken to Jiamusi City Labour Camp. In 2003, the authorities tortured her in an attempt to force Ms. Li to write the "four statements." On February 17th, 2004, Ms. Li was locked with cuffs for four days and three nights. Guards kicked Ms. Li's face with their heavy leather boots. Two of Ms. Li's incisors were knocked out at that time and three teeth became loose from the kicks. There was blood everywhere on the ground and on her body. Her term was extended without any reason. -
120 Falun Dafa Practitioners Detained in Lanzhou Prison Hold Group Hunger Strike
2006-10-30Guards at the Lanzhou Prison have intensified the persecution of practitioners. They force all practitioners to write so called "critique reports" monthly. If a practitioner refuses, they forge the report and forcibly apply the practitioner's fingerprints to the document. To protest, 120 practitioners went on a group hunger strike on September 26th. They have become very weak and guards refused family visits this month. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Chen Suxiang Tortured to Death - Family Threatened Upon Seeking Justice
2006-10-29On September 12th, 2006, practitioner Chen Suxiang was arrested and officers took her to the Kaiping Police Station. They chained her hands and feet with handcuffs and shackles and tortured her for twenty four hours. Chen Suxiang died the next day, on September 13th. Chen Suxiang's mother went to the Kaiping Police Station to appeal for justice but nobody admitted guilt and only offered her 40,000 yuan bribe, which she refused. Next, Chen Suxiang's family visited the Kaiping Procuratorate asking for justice. The family was told that the Kaiping Police Station did nothing wrong when executing its law enforcement. -
Mr. Miao Shujun Suffered Torture at Suihua Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province
2006-10-29Mr. Miao Shujun was arrested at home by police. His wife asked the police to release her husband as he had committed no crime. Policeman Zhou said, "He was reported for spreading Falun Gong." When she visited her husband Miao Shujun told her, "On September 22nd, I was subjected to beatings.I have headaches, feel dizzy and have severe pains in my chest. I throw up anything I eat. It's becoming worse and worse." -
A Practitioner in Her 80s Sent to Wangcun Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province for Refusing to Give up Her Belief
2006-10-29Mrs. Niu is in her 80s. Recently, she was arrested by the 610 Office and taken to the Taian Brainwashing Centre. Because she refused to stop cultivating Falun Dafa, she was sent to the notorious Wangcun Forced Labour Camp. An 80-year-old woman has been arrested and persecuted at a brainwashing centre and is now being sent to a forced labour camp. These inhumane and unlawful acts demonstrate the insanity of the Chinese Communist Party. -
Older Practitioner Ms. Li Qiuling Dies as a Result of Persecution
2006-10-29Ms. Li Qiuling was over 60 years old. In May 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. The Beijing police took all of her cash, and she was taken to the local police station by officers in Beijing. After she was brutally beaten at the police station, she was taken to a detention centre and detained for a month. During this time, police from the Langfang City Department, along with her employer, broke into her house and stole 1,000 yuan without a warrant. Later she was she was tortured at the labour camp and fined another 7,000 yuan. After she returned from the labour camp, her health deteriorated, and she passed away in September, 2006. -
My Experience of Being Arrested, Imprisoned and Force-fed: Written in a Detention Centre by Practitioner Liu Yu from Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province
2006-10-28Ms. Liu Yu was detained in a detention centre and went on a hunger strike to protest. She recounts,"A doctor used ropes to tie my four limbs. He also shouted, "I want to hear the pig cries when we slaughter it." I used all my strength to resist, but I was not able to deal with so many people. I was then savagely force-fed. Two nurses inserted a plastic tube into my nose. The tube touched my throat and I shook violently from the discomfort. Both my throat and stomach were in great pain from the tube insertion. I felt humiliated and injured. All of my limbs were numb, as I was not able to move at all. They kept moving the tube up and down inside my stomach." -
Practitioner Ms. Liu Xiufang from Shandong Province Is Homeless Again Due to Continuous Persecution
2006-10-28During the past few years, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Xiufang has been repeatedly persecuted for her belief in Falun Gong. She has been sentenced to forced labour and detained in a mental hospital. Her newly built home and yard walls have also been destroyed. In June 2006, she was forced to leave home again to avoid further persecution. -
Practitioner Arrested in Shandong Province - Father Dies of Grief
2006-10-28Because he firmly cultivates in Dafa, the authorities ransacked 38-year-old Song Baogang's home on numerous occasions and sentenced him to two years of forced labour. They even held him for more than two years after he had completed his sentence at the Wangcun Labour Camp. The actions of the police forced Mr. Song into destitution and homelessness. On September 7th, 2006, more than ten individuals arrested Mr. Song. Mr. Song's father suffered tremendously, both physically and emotionally, as a result of the long-term harassment, threats, and persecution that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) inflicted on his son. He died on September 17th after hearing that his son had been arrested once again. -
Two Practitioners from Hebei Province Arrested and Tortured for Delivering the Nine Commentaries
2006-10-28Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Li Gang and Mr. Li He were arrested by traffic police in Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province when delivering the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party . They are detained at Zhuozhou Detention Centre and are reportedly being tortured and persecuted. The police beat them and then scattered salt on their wounds. Cries of pain could be heard from the torture room. -
Two Elderly Practitioners Die from the Persecution in Jilin and Shandong Provinces
2006-10-28Mr. Sun Fuxi, 68, lived in Yantai City, Shandong Province. He began cultivating Falun Gong in 1995 and had been healthy ever since. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Dafa on July 20th, 1999, party officials often harassed him at his home at all hours. They forced him to write a "guarantee statement" to renounce Falun Dafa and arrested his family members. His wife and son were arrested and detained many times. Mr. Sun suffered tremendous harm to his mind and body. After enduring the long term mental pressure and persecution, he passed away during August 2005. -
Nineteen Practitioners Arrested in Harbin City, Mr. Zhang Zhong Died in Custody after Torture and Abuse
2006-10-27On August 10th, 2006, nineteen practitioners were sharing experiences together at a practitioner's home. When they came downstairs, they were all arrested by police officers. The police detained all of the practitioners in theNan'gang District Detention Centre. We heard that Mr. Zhang Zhong and Mr. Han Wei were tortured the most severely, causing injury and extreme physical weakness. Mr. Zhang Zhong was on hunger strike to protest the arrest. He died in the police hospital after severe torture. -
Older Practitioner, Ms. Li Xiuju from Shandong Province, Died As a Result of Persecution in 2002
2006-10-27Ms. Li Xiuju suffered all kinds of inhuman torture when she was detained in a detention centre, following her arrest for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. The hatchet men tortured her every day, lashing them with bamboo strips, beating them with batons, shocking them, pouring ice cold water on them, putting salt on their wounds; they were also made to stand straight, run or do push-ups for an extended time. The persecution also gave great pressure to her husband. After repeated harassment Li Xiuju died on January 17th, 2002, at the age of 52. -
Four Practitioners Who Died as a Result of the Persecution in Sichuan, Shaanxi, Hebei, and Hubei Provinces
2006-10-27Mr. Liu Shaohua, 73 years old, was an employee of the Education Bureau in Langfang City, Hebei Province. After the persecution began the staff from his work place would go to his home to threaten or harass him, attempting to force him to write letters renouncing Falun Gong. In the spring of 2005, people from the local 610 Office told his work place that Liu Shaohua had been distributing leaflets exposing the persecution, so the staff from his work place went to his home to threaten him. In October of the same year, they went to his home again and said that he had been reported for meeting another practitioner. Liu Shaohua suffered threats and psychological persecution by these people until he died on November 12th, 2005.
