A Young Woman Endures Severe Torture to Protect Her Fellow Practitioners from Persecution

"They stopped the beating and tried to coerce me to speak. I did not say anything. Another man came and punched me and kicked me. I fell down to the ground. Four or five persons attacked me at once. They stomped on my face and hands, and beat me. I rolled on the ground, writhing in pain. They stopped when they felt tired. By then my face and eyes were swollen. I was in pain all over my body. But I did not betray my fellow practitioners because I understood that if I told the authorities their names, the practitioners would be arrested and persecuted, maybe even to death (at that time hundreds of deaths had already been confirmed)." -
Detailed Report on the Persecution and Death of Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Bai Lixia in 2002
2006-08-29Ms Bai Lixia was arrested in Beijing with eleven other practitioners in September 1999 when she was appealing for Dafa. They sent her to the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp. Twenty-eight Dafa practitioners from Jixi were sent to labour camp(s) and were brutally tortured. They slept on the concrete floor. They found water each morning upon awakening under the plastic sheets they slept on. The Wanjia Forced Labour Camp forbade Dafa practitioners to meet each other and detained the practitioners individually, in order to "reform" them. Female guard Meng Xiangzhi forced Bai Lixia to do heavy slave labour when Bai Lixia was suffering from ulcerated scabies all over her body. -
Practitioner Shao Qiang's Mother Calls for His Release After He Became Mentally Unstable from a Police Beating
2006-08-29Since July 24th, Ms Zhang Huizhu has been holding a sign outside the Shandong Provincial Prison to protest the police's beating of her son Shao Qiang. She is urging the prison to unconditionally release him. Shao Qiang went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa was subsequently sentenced by the Beijing Judiciary Department to ten years in prison. While Shao was detained in Beijing and Jinan City, he was often brutally beaten by the police, and this caused him to become mentally unstable. -
Six Dafa Practitioners from Heilongjiang and Hubei Province Die as a Result of the Persecution
2006-08-29Mr. Hu Shaohui, 74 years old, was arrested when he spoke about the facts of Falun Dafa to a student in a park. One police officer shouted at him, "I will kick you till you die!" The policemen pushed him to the ground and forcefully took him to the local residential committee office. At that time, he was gasping for breath. They threatened Mr. Hu by threatening to fire his son from his job if he refused to go to a brainwashing session. Under all kinds of pressure, Mr. Hu developed symptoms of cerebral thrombus. After he was out of the hospital, because his family members continued to monitor and pressure him. Mr. Hu's condition worsened, and he died on July 8th, 2006. -
Jiang Yuejun Sent to a Forced Labour Camp with Fractures After Being Beaten by Agents from the National Protection Team – His Mother Suffers From Depression
2006-08-28Mr. Jiang Yuejun was brought to the Public Security Bureau, where he was interrogated for two days. He was tortured with all sorts of methods and equipment and not a single part of his body was without wounds from the beatings he received. It was only because of a fractured rib that he was sent to the Nanshan Detention Centre. Even then, however, not only did the policemen refuse to give him medical attention, they also announced to the public that they had not beaten him at all. -
Mr. Chen Chunlin from Anda City Tortured in Daqing City Prison
2006-08-28On September 20th, 2002, prison guards ordered two criminals to beat and curse Mr. Chen Chunlin. They humiliated him, deprived him of sleep, and poured cold water on him. On March 15th, 2004, a guard locked Mr. Chen in solitary confinement and deprived him of sleep. He also arranged prisoners to watch him and insult him. The second night, prisoners put Mr. Chen on a large bed, where Mr. Chen was excruciatingly tortured. On March 17th after Mr. Chen had a physical test and was sent back to the sickroom, prisoners ordered by the guards stripped his clothes, poured cold water on him, and opened the window to let him freeze. They also beat and kicked him for three to four hours. He was then put on the bed and tortured more brutally. They gripped his testicles and pressured his eyeballs with their fingers. -
Dafa Practitioner Ms. Lan Hongying is Imprisoned in Helongjiang Women’s Prison
2006-08-28In the autumn of 2002, Ms. Lan Hongying was arrested by police in Jilin Province. She was sentenced to an eight-year imprisonment in Helongjiang Women’s Prison. Ms. Lan’s whole family was persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Her elder sister and father passed away one after the other. Her mother is in serious condition with no one to take care of her. However, Ms. Lan knew nothing about what had happened to her family. -
Ms. Zheng Yingchun Tortured by Warden Liu Yadong in Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp
2006-08-28On June 17th, 2002, practitioner Ms. Zheng Yingchun was sentenced to two years in the Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp. A warden, Liu, lectured Ms. Zheng many times trying to make her "renounce" her belief. She explained to Liu the beauty of Falun Dafa, but he refused to listen and cruelly pinched Ms. Zheng’s arm. The bruise remained for more than two weeks. Liu also pinched Ms. Zheng’s thighs. Liu often subjected Zheng Yingchun to the sitting board torture, which requires the victim to put her hands on her lap, keep the back straight, and sit still on a wooden bench for up to 18 hours a day. Liu tortured Zheng Yingchun for over fifty days. -
When the First Women’s Labour Camp in Shandong Province Failed to Destroy a Practitioner's Conscience, They Subjected Her to Severe Torture
2006-08-27The labour camp cruelly tortured a practitioner by locking her in a "small cell" and depriving her of sleep for 13 days. The cell was no more than one metre wide and four to five meters long. The cell never received any sunlight and was unheated. The cell was so cold that one could suffer frostbite in the feet despite wearing very thick shoes, and one would need to wear three winter coats to stay even somewhat warm. One had to defecate and urinate in the cell. This caused the air inside the cell to be extremely filthy and foul. This practitioner was tortured in the cell for 13 days during the coldest part of winter. -
The Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Dong Yanfa
2006-08-27Forty-eight-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Dong was detained by police three times. The third time two officers beat Mr. Dong on April 27th, 2001, until his face was covered in blood. They inserted a tube with unidentified drugs into Dong Yanfa’s nostrils. Mr. Dong felt general malaise afterwards and collapsed on the floor.. He was semi-paralysed, saw double, couldn’t speak, and drooled constantly. He could not eat or go to the toilet. The authorities took him to a detention centre even though he was in serious condition. Mr. Dong was again arrested in 2005. He collapsed on the floor. Then the officials ransacked his home, even having done so four times already. -
Officers in Huludao City Arrest Falun Gong Practitioners
2006-08-27Five police officers noticed practitioners Mr. Yang Jiangwei and Mr. Pei Zhihua speaking to people about the facts of Falun Dafa in Gaotai Township on the evening of August 6th, 2006. The officers chased the practitioners in their police car until the two fell into a roadside ditch. The fall severely injured practitioner Mr. Pei Zhihua. He could not move his legs and had a shattered jaw. The police sent Mr. Pei to a hospital, notified his family, and left. Mr. Pei’s family is poor, and it will be hard for them to pay the medical expenses. -
The Persecution of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Ruan Shufang
2006-08-27On October 15th, 2004, Dafa practitioner Ruan Shufang was arrested by police and sent to Fusong Detention Centre, where she was jailed for 45 days. Afterwards, she was transferred to the Heizuizi Labour Camp for a one-year term of labour education. While detained in the labour camp, Ms. Ruan shouted, "Falun Dafa is good." Because of this, her term was extended. After nearly two years of torture, the muscles on her hands have withered and her hands shake uncontrollably. She has lost the ability to work and cannot take care of herself. -
Mr. Lei Ming, Who Participated in Cable TV Tapping in Changchun in 2002, Dies from Torture Inflicted Wounds

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lei Ming was part of a group that tapped into Changchun City Cable TV to spread the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution in 2002. He was arrested and had been tortured to disability in the Changchun City Police Department and Jilin Prison. He was tortured with the tiger bench, electric baton shocks (on his face, mouth, neck, and anus), suffocation by plastic bags covering his head, hitting a metal bucket on his head, burning his neck with a red-hot screw driver, punching and kicking. He died on August 6th, 2006. -
The Persecution I Experienced and Witnessed at Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2006-08-26The team leader bound my legs with a rope. Zhang Chunguang tried to hold me still by planting her feet on my legs and forcibly gave me an injection. Like a beast, she beat prisoners at will. In mid-winter, she stripped me of my insulated coat and hung it on a line, and for two days in a row forced me to stand in the cold outside the room. She humiliated me by taking pictures of me holding a black carton. One time my required fitness exercise movements were not quite up to par, so I was dragged into an open area and savagely beaten by police officers. -
Blood Forcibly Extracted from Practitioners in the Qianxi Detention Centre in Hebei Province
2006-08-26In the detention centre, five practitioners had blood forcibly drawn from them and were photographed. The following accounts reveal the persecution of the Falun Dafa practitioners. Chuai Cuijun was held down and had blood drawn. She was photographed in a handcuffed and shackled position. Chuai Cuijun went on a hunger strike to protest the detention. She was force-fed twice with dense brine, which the policemen said was soy milk. It is very agonising to be fed brine when on a hunger strike. She was handcuffed and shackled for two weeks (only criminals awaiting execution are treated in this manner).
