Belated Report: 77 Year Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Li Bingqian from Hebei Province Died in 2003 as a Result of Persecution

77 year old Mr. Li lived in Hebei Province. After the persecution started on July 20, 1999, the police ransacked his home many times, threatened him, and tried to force him many times to write statements "regretting" his taking up the practice of Falun Dafa. His children were detained, sentenced to labour camps, sent to brainwashing classes, and had huge amounts of money extorted from them. In January 2003, Mr. Li Bingqian passed away under the severe pressure of the persecution. -
Practitioner Mr Pan Gang from Jilin Province Describes the Persecution He Suffered
2005-02-06"After July 20, 1999 my workplace followed the orders of the "610 Office" and detained me. That was the beginning of a long period of persecution, with the authorities, following the orders of Jiang Zemin with regard to Falun Gong practitioners, attempting to "defame my reputation, ruin me financially and destroy me physically". If it hadn't been for my strong faith in Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance, I would never have survived." -
Falun Gong Practitioners Are Still Being Brutally Tortured at the Tangshan City Forced Labour Camp
2005-02-06Falun Gong practitioners are still being tortured at the Tangshan City Forced Labour Camp in Hebei Province. On March 18, 2004, practitioners detained there held a group protest calling for the police to stop the physical abuse and respect the human rights of practitioners. Instead of respecting their request, the labour camp police launched another round of brutal persecution and torture of practitioners. Guards twisted one man's hands behind his back, and then used a rope saturated with water to tie him very tightly. At the same time, they raised his hands up to the back of his head. Each rope torture session lasted for about 15 minutes and this man was in his 60's. -
A Belated Report of Three Practitioners from Hebei Province That Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-02-0552 year old Ms. Li Guifen, 69 year old Ms. Wu Guoying and 57 year old Mr. Deng Zuxiong suffered from intense police harassment; seriously infringing their freedom; closely monitoring and pressurising them to renounce Falun Dafa; to even ransacking their homes and extorting money from them. This led them to develop illnesses, and under the great pressure each one passed away. -
Two Hundred Practitioners on Hunger Strike to Protest Severe Torture and Inhumane Treatment at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2005-02-05More shocking events, on top of earlier reported events, are occurring at Masanjia Forced Labour Camp in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. To "transform" practitioners, the camp is notorious for torturing Falun Gong practitioners, who are good people and live by the principles of "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance." To protest the persecution, almost 200 practitioners went on a hunger strike demanding to be released unconditionally. On January 8, 2005, practitioners had been on hunger strike for 10 days. -
A Former Judge's Experience at Nanmusi Women's Labour Camp
2005-02-05Ms. Pan Xiaojiang, 40 years old, is a lawyer. Over the past 5 years, she has suffered from the persecution, causing great harm to her mind and body. She was dismissed from her job, sentenced three times to forced labour camps for a total of three and a half years and detained in jail for 29 months. Guards beat her, causing her to lose consciousness. One time she was unconscious for 21 days. -
Dujun Cement Plant Prison in Guizhou Province Brutally Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners
2005-02-05The Dujun Cement Plant Prison in Guizhou Province requires everyone to write a pledge to give up practising Falun Gong. If practitioners refuse, they are beaten and tortured using such tactics as forcing them to squat for a long time and the "Death Bed". The "Death Bed" requires handcuffing the victim's hands and feet to the four corners of a bed. The victim is unable to move or use the toilet. After being restrained this way for a long time, the person's hips become sore, the back stiffens, and the pain becomes unbearable. -
Three Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioners from Liaoning and Guangdong Provinces Have Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-02-04Mr. Yu Liye was 69 years old. He was detained in Chaoyang City's Forced Labour Camp, and extorted out of more than one thousand yuan because he practised Falun Gong. After his release his former illness came back and he died in May 2002. Ms. Zhong Youlan was in her 60s. Because she went to appeal for Falun Dafa, she was severely beaten and tortured. She suffered a nervous breakdown and died in 2003. Ms. Zeng Huanzhen was in her 50s. She was tortured twice in brainwashing classes, and harassed by police upon her release. Ms. Zeng Huanzhen died as a result of all this inhumane treatment in December 2004. -
Three More Falun Gong Practitioners Pass Away as a Result of the Persecution
2005-02-04The three practitioners died as a result of harassment and interference in their lives. Had the persecution of Falun Gong not happened, they would most likely still be alive today. They were people from all walks of life and three different provinces in China, but they all had one thing in common - they had been deeply touched by the profound nature of Falun Dafa and experienced powerful life-changes, so they would not renouce their faith. They sadly all died as a result. -
24 Year Old Elementary School Teacher Ms Luo Qiaohong from Hunan Province Died in 2001 as a Result of Persecution
2005-02-04Ms. Luo Qiaohong was a teacher from Hunan Province. One day "610 Office" officials broke into her home in the middle of the night and abducted her, leaving her two-year-old child and mother-in-law behind. They detained her in another town for several months. By the time she was released, her mental stability had been compromised by the abuse she'd suffered, yet she was still constantly harassed. She died suddenly two months later, when she was only 24 years old. -
A Call for Help to Save the 743 Falun Gong Practitioners Illegally Jailed in Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2005-02-04The Masanjia Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province is the so-called "model" for Chinese labour camps where Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted. The 743 Falun Gong practitioners currently detained there are being tortured physically and mentally, and have been deprived of their livelihoods. In 2004 alone, there were many cases in which Falun Gong practitioners, after being tortured, became disabled, suffered mental collapse, and some have even died. -
Practitioner Mr Du Jincai has been on Hunger Strike for 190 Days; His Life Is in Imminent Danger
2005-02-03Falun Gong practitioner Mr Du Jincai is from Liaoning Province. He is currently detained in the Huludao Forced Labour Camp for practising Falun Gong. To protest the persecution, Du Jincai has been on a hunger strike for 190 days, has been force-fed and his life is in danger. We call on people from all walks of life to pay close attention to his situation and rescue Du Jincai. -
A Call for Help to Rescue Mr. Ni Guobin, A Falun Dafa Practitioner Imprisoned in Hubei Province
2005-02-03Because of his practice of Falun Gong, Mr Ni Guobin was imprisoned for three years before he was finally released last year. On July 13, 2004, a few unidentified people who claimed to be officers from the National Security Office, Wuhan Police Department, abducted him again. Ten days later, they sent Mr. Ni back home when he was dying as a result of the cruel torture. After Mr. Ni finally managed to recover, the authorities once again abducted him from his home on December 7, 2004. -
Liver Cancer Survivor Ms. Chang Fengqin Had Relapse and Died in 2002 after Being Forced to Give Up Her Practice of Falun Dafa
2005-02-03In 1997 45 year old Ms. Chang Fengqin was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer by several hospitals. She was given four months to live. That same year she fortunately started practising Falun Gong. After a short period of practice, a miracle happened: she recovered fully. However, after the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Ms. Chang Fengqin was afraid of reading Falun Dafa books and practising Falun Gong. Her cancer recurred and she died in the summer of 2002. -
Two Older Practitioners from Hebei Province Died Due to Torture and Harassment
2005-02-02Ms. Zhang Yuqing, around 60 years old, was a resident of Hebei province. She was tortured in the brainwashing centre because she continued to do the Falun Gong exercises. She was deeply troubled. On January 15, 2005, soon after Ms. Zhang Yuqing returned home, she passed away. Before she died, she said: "I still have duties to fulfill. I regret that they are left undone." Ms. Zhao Wenjie was about 70 years old. Police and government officers frequently harassed her at home. She was greatly anguished and thus deteriorated mentally and physically. Her old diseases came back and she died in early 2003.
