  However, because of this picture, several employees of the company were sent to the Public Security Bureau and were detained for a long time. In the end, under pressure from the Public Security Bureau, they were forced to sign a letter guaranteeing that they have nothing to do with Falun Gong before they could be released. There are no Falun Gong practitioners in the company. However, even this law abiding company was not able to escape from this type of harassment. These types of actions on the part of the Public Security Bureau in China, which violate people's human rights, have chilled the hearts of the Taiwanese doing business in China.

• A Blind Man Says "Falun Dafa is Good!" And Receives A One Year Prison Sentence

  In 2001 he went to City Hall to appeal his job situation. At that time there were many people appealing at City Hall. When he started talking about Falun Gong with the people around him, he said frankly, "Falun Gong is good. They (practitioners) are very kind. Even in the face of the persecution they have always been kind. If all the peasants practised Falun Gong, we wouldn't need any other regulations." When he was overheard making this statement, police put him in the detention centre for more than 10 days. They then ransacked his house and sentenced him to a ludicrous sentence of year and a half of prison.

• Jiang Zemin's National Security Department Starts to Investigate Falun Gong Practitioners' Relatives

  Recently, the branch of Jiang Zemin's national security department in a northern city started to collect information about Falun Gong practitioners' relatives, their relatives' employers and their home phone numbers. Apparently it has something to do with the lawsuit overseas that is charging Jiang with genocide. The national security department is trying to figure out the practitioners who have overseas relatives and block the channels that might be used for the delivery of evidence about the persecution.

The evil people twisted one student's ears and slapped his face when he walked out of the theatre. The student was so frightened that he cried. To make it worse, upon returning to the school, the students were forced to write down their impressions after watching the movie.

  After failing to get any information (their family members indeed did not know where they went), the police illegally detained one of the practitioner's daughter (a non-practitioner) at the end of June for more than 50 hours. Later the daughter's employer bailed her out. The police threatened, "If we cannot put the Falun Gong practitioners under arrest, we will not let their family members live a normal life and we will arrest all of them."

Under the tremendous pressure from school and society, he could not continue his peaceful cultivation in Falun Gong. His health quickly deteriorated. Four months after the persecution started, he sadly passed away.
