Russia: Activity in Moscow on the 6th Anniversary of the “4.25” Appeal

On April 25th 2005, a group of Moscow Falun Gong practitioners held activities in the north-east district of Moscow City to commemorate of the 6th anniversary of the “4.25” peaceful appeal outside Zhongnanhai. Banners and photo boards were displayed to let the public know about the persecution happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
Finland: Practitioners Call for an End to the Persecution on the Sixth Anniversary of the April 25th Incident

Practitioners held a photo exhibition in Helsinki, in memory of the sixth anniversary of the “4.25” incident when 10,000 practitioners peacefully went to the Appeals Office in Zhongnanhai to tell the Chinese authorities about the human rights abuses against Falun Gong. Many people were shocked and concerned after seeing the astonishing photos of persecuted practitioners. -
Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to a Culture Day in Ockelbo

On Friday the 29th of April 2005, a large culture day was arranged with various activities at a senior-level school in Ockelbo, Sweden. The pupils had the opportunity to choose what to do during the day and two Falun Gong practitioners from the city of Gaovle were invited because pupils wanted to know more about the practice. -
United Kingdom: Appealing Opposite the Singapore High Commission - Don’t Bow to CCP Pressure

London practitioners gathered opposite the Singapore High Commission in protest against the Singapore Government choosing to be an accomplice of the Chinese Communist Party and persecute Falun Gong by sentencing 2 female practitioners to prison. They requested the Singapore government immediately release the innocent practitioners. -
Ukraine: "Journey of Compassion" Painting Exhibition in Kramatorsk City

The "Journey of Compassion" painting exhibition took place in Kramatorsk city from the 15th to the 17th of April 2005. The exhibition showed work by artists who practise Falun Gong and the handicrafts created by Ukrainian Falun Gong practitioners. The delicate art work reflected the goodness and kindness that practitioners develop through practising Falun Gong. -
United Kingdom: Exposing the Crimes of the Chinese Communist Party in London’s Chinatown

On the 24th of April, Falun Gong practitioners in the UK once again organised an activity in London’s Chinatown to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness of the persecution against the practice in Mainland China. This was part of the series of activities held in the UK to commemorate the April 25th appeal in 1999. -
Austria: Exposing the Persecution and Commemorating the "4.25" Peaceful Appeal

Austrian practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition in the centre of Vienna to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the "4.25" peaceful appeal and to let people know about the persecution against Falun Gong in China. We prepared leaflets in ten languages so that most of the tourists could receive information in their native tongue. -
Finland: Commemorating the "4.25" Peaceful Appeal at the Chinese Embassy

To commemorate the sixth anniversary of the peaceful April 25th appeal, Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held an activity at the Chinese Embassy on April 25th 2005. The practitioners called for an end to the six years of persecution they have endured at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party. -
France: Falun Gong Practitioners Commemorate April 25th at the Chinese Embassy

Six years ago, ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners in China, where Falun Gong originated, went to the State Appeals Office to peacefully appeal for their right to practise Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners in France gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to commemorate the "April 25" appeal on the afternoon of April 22nd 2005. -
Denmark: Remembering the Appeal on April 25th

On 25th April 2005, practitioners in Denmark went to peacefully demonstrate outside of the Chinese Embassy to call for an end to the nearly six years of brutal persecution in China. Tens of thousands of people have been subjected to torture for their belief in Truth, Compassion and Forbearance. The death toll continues to rise and is now nearing 2,000. -
Finland: Bringing the Goodness of Falun Gong to the Finnish People

On the evening of the 8th of April 2005, practitioners from two different cities in Finland drove several hundred kilometres to the Kylpyl Hotel near the mid-west city of Pori to participate in a two-day health exhibition. Some people told practitioners they had already seen Falun Gong on Finnish TV. Several members of the public said that they could feel a strong energy field at the Falun Gong stall. -
Sweden: Activities in Gothenburg to Commemorate the April 25th Incident

On April 24th, Falun Gong practitioners from Gothenburg held an activity in the city centre to raise awareness about the persecution and inform the public of the anniversary of the 25th of April appeal. It was six years ago that 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners peacefully gathered at the Chinese Communist Party’s central appeal office in Beijing. -
Holland: To Commemorate the "4.25" Appeal, Practitioners Peacefully Appeal Outside the Chinese Embassy

To commemorate the "4.25" appeal in Zhongnanhai, when 10,000 Dafa practitioners went to peacefully appeal to the Chinese Government in 1999, Holland Dafa practitioners peacefully demonstrated outside the Chinese Embassy and called for an end to the persecution on the 24th of April. -
NTDTV Invited to a Special Seminar on "Communism - the Rights of Freedom of Speech” during the 61st UNHRC

On the 13th of April, inside the UN building in Geneva, a special conference was held by the General-Secretary of the International Multicultural Religions Organization about New Tang Dynasty Television. The main speakers included NTDTV Public Affairs Deputy Principal, Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Democracy League, a representative for the Tiananmen Mothers Committee and also a Swiss lawyer. -
United Kingdom: April 25th Commemorative Press Conference and Chinatown Appeal in London

The speakers at the London press conference exposed the massive increase in illegal arrests of Falun Gong practitioners and the declaration of martial law in parts of China that has happened in the week leading up to the April 25th anniversary. On the same day, a demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises took place in London’s Chinatown.
