Spain: 6-10 Office Representatives from Four Chinese Provinces are Under Investigation by the Spanish Police
2004-12-14On the 29th November, after hearing that four 6-10 Office representatives would be visiting Europe with a tourist group, Spanish Falun Gong practitioners immediately reported to Spain’s Highest Police Office that the four criminals who are persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in China might be entering Spain. In addition, practitioners handed in evidence of the crimes of the four people and testimonies of witnesses to the police, whilst demanding that the police immediately investigate all four of them. -
Finland: On World Human Rights Day, Falun Gong Practitioners held an Anti-Torture Picture Exhibition in Helsinki
2004-12-14The 10th of December was World Human Rights Day. Helsinki Falun Gong practitioners went to the city centre to raise awareness about the cruel persecution in China. Widespread human rights abuse has been happening there for the last five years against people who practise Falun Gong and follow the principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. -

2004-12-14"In 1999, Jiang Zemin, overriding the wishes of his colleagues in the Chinese Politburo, introduced a campaign to suppress the innocent group Falun Gong for nothing but their beliefs, amounting to no less than 100 millions Chinese citizens. Suppression of people for their beliefs is known under international law as genocide. The Chinese Government is guilty of genocide and those who have introduced this horror that has lasted for more than 5 years must be brought to justice." -
Holland: During the EU-China Summit, People were Shocked by the Brutal Persecution Against Falun Gong Practitioners in China
2004-12-13On the 8th of December, during the EU-China summit, Falun Gong practitioners from Holland, Belgium and Germany held an anti-torture exhibition on the square outside the Houses of Parliament in The Hague. This was the third day of activities in the square for Falun Gong practitioners, continuing their efforts to raise awareness of the persecution. -
Sweden: Falun Gong practitioners Appeal at Stockholm City Hall during the Nobel Peace Prize Banquet on World Human Rights Day
2004-12-13On the 10th of December, World Human Rights Day, Falun Gong-practitioners appealed at Stockholm City Hall during the Nobel Peace Prize Banquet held in the Blue Hall. The guests at the Nobel Banquet and people passing by clearly saw the practitioners’ peaceful appeal about twenty metres away from the entrance to the hall. -
Holland: Practitioners Request Human Rights Violator Bo Xilai is Expelled from the Country during EU-China Summit
2004-12-12Falun Gong practitioners peacefully appealed outside the EU-China trade talk venue by displaying banners, demonstrating the five sets of exercises, welcoming Wen Jiabao, requesting that human rights violator Bo Xilai be expelled from Holland and calling for chief persecutors Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to be brought to justice. -

Many people stopped by to read the posters that illustrated details of the human rights crimes that have been committed on the orders of Jiang Zemin and his communist regime. -
Switzerland: Exposing the Torture Methods Used in China’s Labour Camps to Force Falun Gong Practitioners to Betray their Conscience
2004-12-12On a Saturday in November, Falun Gong practitioners met in Glarus Town Hall Square and set up an information booth. They talked to local people about the human rights atrocities that have been perpetrated against people who practise Falun Gong in China over the past five years. Passersby were shocked when they heard that over 1,100 people have lost their lives because they practice this peaceful meditation and exercise system, and because they refuse to renounce their belief in Falun Gong’s guiding principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. -
United Kingdom: Practitioners Hold a Press Conference on World Human Rights Day
2004-12-11December 10th was World Human Rights Day. In London, Falun Gong practitioners gathered opposite the Chinese Embassy to draw attention to the five-year campaign of persecution waged against fellow practitioners in China. Several statements of support by VIPs were read out and practitioners spoke about the persecution they have suffered personally. -
Switzerland: Falun Gong Practitioners Visit the Mountain Region to hold an Anti-Torture- Exhibition and Expose the Persecution
2004-12-11On the 27th of November, Swiss practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition in Heri Sau and Appenrell on the borders of Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Local people from the mountain areas all took leaflets and enthusiastically signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution, although they had never heard about Falun Gong before. Some of them even helped the practitioners to give out leaflets. -
Turkey: Short Stories of Turkish people Embracing Falun Gong
2004-12-11One day I went to Istanbul on a business trip and met eight schoolteachers in a restaurant. They were chatting and I introduced myself to them. I mentioned Falun Gong to them and the ongoing persecution in China and told them that the main instigator of the persecution, former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, is being sued in the international courts of many countries for the crime of genocide. They showed great interest in Falun Gong and some of them immediately wanted to learn the exercises. -

2004-12-10On 4th and 5th December 2004, practitioners held two days of events to promote Falun Dafa and raising awareness of the persecution in the marketplace of Ankara. The practitioners told people about Falun Gong and demonstrated the five sets of exercises. People were pleasantly surprised and stopped to watch. -
Germany: Exposing the Torture Against China’s Falun Gong Practitioners during the “China Meets Europe” Economic Convention
2004-12-09As soon as we heard about the Hamburg Economic Convention from November the 11th to the 27th 2004, we decided to organise an anti-torture exhibition near the meeting location. This included re-enactments and demonstrations of the methods of torture used to force Falun Gong practitioners in China to renounce their beliefs. -
United Kingdom: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in Leeds and Middlesborough
2004-12-08On November the 27th and 28th, a group of British Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition and activities to promote Falun Gong in Leeds and then Middlesborough. Leeds and Middlesborough were the final stops of the anti-torture exhibition tour by practitioners from North Britain. Previously, the tour visited Newcastle, Sunderland, York and Huddersfield.
