Sweden: Appealing to Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong at the Chinese Consulate
2005-10-10Falun Gong practitioners unfurled two very large banners outside the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg. One banner read “Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners” while the other consisted of photos of Falun Gong practitioners who have been persecuted to death in China. Practitioners also demonstrated the exercises. -

United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners submit a petition and signatures to the British Prime Minister's Office
2005-09-08In order to urgently seek the rescue of Falun Gong practitioners taken into custody and persecuted illegally in China, several British practitioners went to London to the British Prime Minister's office at 10 Downing Street on September 1st. They submitted a petition of more than eight thousand signatures to the British Prime Minister Tony Blair. -
Finland: Parliament’s Human Rights Commission Appeals to the People to Pay Attention to Human Rights in China
2005-08-31A parade supporting 3.6 million people who withdrew their membership from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was held in Helsinki. Some local Falun Gong practitioners chose to take part in and support these activities due to the controlling role that the Chinese Communist Party has taken in the six-year genocide against Falun Gong practitioners. -
German Practitioners Appeal to Rescue Jiang Renzheng: Little Benny Wants His Dad Back
2005-08-28In March this year, Benny and his brother left Germany with their parents for his father’s hometown, Benxi City in Liaoning Province. Their bad luck followed hard at heel ever since. On April 8th when Benny and his brother were playing at their grandparents’ house in Shenyang, seven people suddenly came to take his father away. When Benny saw his Dad taken away, he ran after them to the front door. He was frightened and cried out. -
Finland: Candlelight Vigil for Murdered Falun Gong Practitioners During the World Track and Field Championships in Helsinki
2005-08-23On August 13th, 2005, the World Track and Field Championships held in Helsinki were coming to an end. Falun Gong practitioners lit candles and sat silently in the glow of the candle light. We sat near each other and gave expression to our grief for the deaths of so many practitioners and called for justice. Let’s end the persecution together. -
Croatia: On July 20th, a Memorial Service in Zagreb Generated Great Media Interest
2005-08-15Many months ago we decided that on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the persecution we would hold a memorial day in Zagreb. Practitioners from all over the world offered their help. Latvia: Practitioners Hold a Peaceful Protest at the Chinese Consulate on July the 20th
2005-08-03Throughout the activities, some practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts, whilst others handed out flyers to passers-by. People wanted to find out more and some stopped to chat with practitioners about the nature of Falun Gong cultivation practice and the human rights abuses against practitioners. -
Estonia: Peaceful Appeal on the Sixth Anniversary of the Persecution at the Chinese Embassy Caught the Media's Attention
2005-07-30On July 25th 2005, just after commemorative activities marking six years of the persecution against Falun Gong in China, Falun Gong practitioners from Estonia, Latvia and Finland hold a peaceful appeal at the Chinese Embassy in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Spain: Mourning for Practitioners Who Lost Their Lives and Calling for an End to the Persecution at the Chinese Embassy on July 20th
2005-07-30On July the 20th six years ago, former Chinese Leader Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began a campaign of genocide against Falun Gong practitioners. To mourn the practitioners who were murdered by the CCP and call for an end to this persecution, Spanish practitioners once again peacefully appealed outside the Chinese Embassy. -
France: Peaceful Appeal at the Chinese Consulate in Marseilles on the Sixth Anniversary of July 20th
2005-07-30On July the 23rd and 24th, a group of French Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chinese Consulate in Marseilles to hold a peaceful petition and candlelight vigil. They commemorated the six years of illegal persecution against Falun Gong and over 2,600 dead Falun Gong practitioners who lost their lives in the persecution. -
Finland: Calling for an End to Persecution Against Falun Gong on July 20th
2005-07-29On July 20th, Finnish practitioners peacefully protested at the Chinese Embassy, calling for an end to the six years of brutal persecution against people who live by the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance”. On July 20th six years ago, former Chinese Communist Party leader Jiang Zemin launched a campaign of persecution against Falun Gong. -

2005-07-29On the 20th of July six years ago, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), headed by Jiang Zemin, launched a systematic and widespread persecution against Falun Gong. Many practitioners were illegally arrested and imprisoned, put into re-education through labour camps and subjected to cruel forms of torture. Over 2,600 have lost their lives.
