Practitioners Appeal to the European Parliament Regarding the Paris incidents - MEPs Express their Support

Outside the parliament building, the practitioners’ appeal and exercise demonstration was peaceful and serene. Local media reporters were present and MEPs from different countries stopped to get more information from the practitioners. Lots of practitioners met MEPs from their own countries who said they would pay close attention to the recent incidents in France. -

On February 14, Falun Gong practitioners from the United Kingdom held a press conference and candlelight vigil to protest the Chinese authorities' brutal persecution of Dafa practitioners during the last three months. Practitioners called to bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to justice. -

On the afternoon of February the 13th, Falun Dafa practitioners from Ireland unfurled banners in front of the Chinese Embassy. They called upon people from all walks of life to jointly resist and expose the evildoings of those who persecute Falun Gong. -

Germany: Appealing to the French Embassy, Consulates and German-French Friendship Associations in Germany

On the 1st of February, 2001, a press release was distributed to major media organisations in Germany by the German Falun Gong Information Centre. It stated that about fifty people wearing yellow clothing had been arrested in the Sino-French New Year celebration activities in Paris. Last week and this week, German Falun Gong practitioners who were arrested in Paris went to the French Embassy in Berlin and consulates in Munich, Frankfurt, Saarbruecken, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Hannover and Leipzig one after another to present appeal letters to the French officials and ask them to forward the letters to the French Government. -
Norway: Practitioners Appeal in front of the French Embassy

On Friday 6th February, they assembled outside the French Embassy in Oslo to distribute flyers, perform the Falun Gong exercises and deliver a letter to the embassy. A Norwegian practitioner was among those unjustly arrested in Paris, so she delivered a statement about her arrest. On the following day, the practitioners distributed flyers in front of Stortinget (the Parliament). -

The purpose was to raise public awareness of how the French Authorities had recently bowed to the Jiang Regime and arrested Falun Gong practitioners just for wearing yellow scarves during the Chinese New Year celebrations. -

UK: Practitioners Show Dafa TV Programmes During the Cambridge Chinese New Year Gala
2004-01-20On January the 16th, UK and Cambridge Chinese Student together with the Scholar’s Associations organised a 2004 Spring Festive Gala. Over 1300 people attended the show. Falun Gong practitioners also joined in the celebrations, and displayed Dafa programmes on a colour TV near the entrance. This added to the festive spirit of the activities. -
Latvia: Peaceful Appeal and Mourning For Liu Chengjun At The Chinese Embassy in Riga

To mourn Liu Chengchun’s death and to protest against Jiang’s persecution of Falun Gong, Dafa practitioners from several cities in Latvia gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Riga city to peacefully appeal. Practitioners called for the wicked people that are responsible for the persecution to be severely punished. -
