2004-09-10On September 1st 2004, Jia Qinglin visited the Austrian Parliament. Outside, Falun Gong practitioners unfurled banners exposing the inhumane persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang Zemin and Jia Qinglin’s regime. At night, Falun gong practitioners held a candlelit vigil outside the Chinese Embassy. -
United Kingdom: Second Anti-Torture Exhibition in Cambridge Exposes the Ruthlessness of Jiang Zemin's Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners
2004-08-24On Sunday August 21st, UK practitioners held a second Anti-Torture exhibition in Cambridge city centre to expose the genocide of Falun Gong, which was planned and initiated by Jiang Zemin and is taking place right now in Mainland China. Several methods of torture used to force practitioners to renounce Falun Gong were demonstrated by actors in realistic make-up. -
Russia: Daily Appeals for Justice at the Chinese Consulate in St. Petersburg
2004-08-17Since July 2004, practitioners in St Petersburg have held an appeal at the Chinese Consulate in St Petersburg every day. They hope this might lead people from all sections of society to pay close attention to the brutal and illegal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. A banner was displayed reading "Stop Persecuting Falun Gong Immediately". -
Czech Republic: Thirty-Six Hour Vigil at the Chinese Embassy in Prague Marks Five Years of Persecution Against Falun Gong in China
2004-08-14July the 20th 2004 marked exactly five years since the Chinese regime, then under the leadership of Jiang Zemin, began a systematic persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Practitioners from the Czech Republic marked this date with a peaceful thirty-six hour vigil of meditation and exercises in front of the Chinese Embassy in Prague. -
Hungary: Peaceful Appeal at the Chinese Embassy in Budapest
2004-08-13Practitioners from Sweden, Australia and Taiwan went to Budapest, the capital of Hungary, on the 21st and 22nd of June. A peaceful appeal was held outside the Chinese Embassy in Budapest. Leaflets were given out to passers-by. The Hungarian people were very supportive and one man said loudly to us, “My heart is with you!” -
Sweden: Mourning Practitioners Who Have Been Persecuted to Death in China
2004-08-12On July 23rd 2004, Falun Gong practitioners assembled outside Gothenburg Chinese Embassy and held a vigil to mourn for the more than one thousand Falun Gong practitioners who have been persecuted to death. They also asked for the Embassy’s staff to not betray their conscience and not participate in this persecution of innocent people. -

They could not believe that this is taking place in modern society. People came in a steady stream to sign the petition to bring Jiang Zemin to justice. -

Belgium: Practitioners Hold Activities and Call on the Public to Help Bring an End to the Persecution
2004-08-03On July the 20th, Belgian practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Brussels to protest against the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners conducted by the Jiang group, and to commemorate practitioners persecuted to death. A practitioner read a declaration, pointing out that we had been confronting the persecution peacefully and rationally. -

Hungary: Calling for an End After Five Years of Brutality Against Falun Gong Practitioners in China
2004-08-01On July the 20th 2004, Hungarian practitioners commemorated the fifth year in the unrelenting persecution of Falun Gong and remembered the 1,000 practitioners who have lost their lives. They died because they practised Falun Gong. They range from children to the elderly. The practitioners called for an immediate end to the persecution. -

2004-08-01On July the 20th 1999, the former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin began a nationwide persecution of Falun Dafa. Five years have passed since and today there are over 1000 documented cases of practitioners losing their lives because they practise Falun Gong. Germany: Practitioners Protest Against Five Years of Persecution at the Chinese Embassy in Munich
2004-08-01Falun Gong practitioners held an exhibition of the brutal facts of the persecution and demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises at the Munich Chinese Embassy. Many onlookers or passers-by came to ask for leaflets and newspapers. As usual, the embassy staff monitored the whole activity using a video camera. -
