Norway: Practitioners hold an Anti-Torture Exhibition and Receive Positive Media Coverage
2004-08-03On the 23rd and 24th of July 2004, practitioners from Norway, Sweden and Demark held a two-day exhibition of some of the torture methods that the Jiang Regime uses to force Falun Gong practitioners in China to give up their beliefs. The exhibition involved acting out these torture methods and took place at the Parliament buildings and the city centre. -
Ireland: Exposing the Torture Methods Used Against Falun Gong Practitioners in China
2004-07-20On Saturday July 17th in Dublin, a group of Falun Dafa practitioners held an Anti-Torture exhibition demonstrating the methods used in Chinese labour camps, prisons and detention centres to force practitioners to give up their belief. The exhibition took place in the centre of Dublin on Dublin’s busiest thoroughfare. Crowds of people watched the display in disbelief at the horror of what is happening in China today. -
Finland: Practitioners in Finland Expose the Brutality of the Five Years of Persecution Against Falun Gong with a Live Anti-Torture Exhibition (Part I)
2004-07-20On Sunday the 18th of July, practitioners from Nordic countries held activities in Helsinki Central Park to appeal for an end to this persecution. Five years ago in July 1999, Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin banned Falun Gong in China and launched a systematic and vicious campaign of genocide, which has claimed more than a thousand innocent lives to this day. -
United Kingdom: Photo Report - Persecution Meets Principle Opposite the Houses of Parliament

The exhibition was entitled "Persecution Meets Principle" and it exposed the sharp contrasts between the five years of genocide against Falun Gong in China, and the peaceful practice of Falun Gong. -
United Kingdom: Photo Report – First UK Anti-Torture Exhibition held Opposite the Houses of Parliament
2004-07-19On Sunday July the 18th, UK Falun Gong practitioners staged an anti-torture exhibition opposite the Houses of Parliament in London. People took leaflets and talked with practitioners to learn more about the situation, and many signed a petition calling for the chief instigator of this persecution, former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, to be brought to justice. -
Dafa Practitioners from Many European Countries Alert Public Attention to the Persecution of Falun Gong on the International Day to Support Torture Victims
2004-06-30Mr. Theo van Boven, an expert on torture from the UN, passed an annual statement to the UN Human Right Committee in March this year. The statement included the 420 page edited short reports about torture and ill-treatment, gathering information on torture from 115 countries around the world. The report about China was the longest, recording over 130 ill-treatment cases, in which over 100 cases were related to Falun Gong practitioners. This statement was formally published on March 23rd, 2004. -
Switzerland: Zhang Cuiying’s Art Exhibition in Switzerland
2004-05-12After Zhang Cuiying’s art exhibition in Brugg, Switzerland, came to an end on May 3rd, another exhibition opened in Switzerland at Fribourg University. The Freiburger Nachrichten newspaper took the lead in reporting details of the art exhibition and the story of Ms Zhang, a Falun Gong practitioner who was persecuted in China by Jiang Zemin's political regime. -
Czech Republic: Zhang Cuiying holds an Exhibition in the Czech Parliament and visits the Office of the Czech President
2004-05-02In February 2004, an exhibition of the paintings of Australian Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Cuiying was held for five days on all three floors of the Atrium of the Czech Parliament in the Waldstein Palace. Many MPs, VIPs, parliamentary officials, members of the public and a reporter attended the opening of Zhang Cuiying’s exhibition. -
Russia: Exposing the Evil Persecution through an Art Exhibition
2004-04-03Chinese artist Zhang Cuiying returned once again to Russia to exhibit her paintings. She had just successfully held an art exhibition in a large city in Eastern Siberia. Mrs Zhang then went on to Pjatigorsk City in the Caucasus Mountains, which is a journey of about ten thousand miles. The exhibition was held at the central library on March the 22nd. Before the opening ceremony began, many people were already gathering inside the exhibition hall. All wanted to admire Mrs Zhang’s wonderful pictures. -
A Successful Photo Exhibition in the University of Geneva
2004-03-30During the 60th session of the United Nations Human Rights Commission, the Falun Gong Association of Geneva University held an exhibition of photographs entitled, “Falun Dafa and Human Rights” on campus. Quite a few students already knew a bit about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, but the cruelty and barbarity were beyond their imagination. -

2004-03-23Zhang Cuiying concluded the Romanian leg of her world tour art exhibition in Bucharest on 11th of March 2004. Ms Zhang’s paintings received a warm welcome from the audience. People were so impressed that many of them came back to the exhibition a second time and brought their friends. -

Many people came to the photo exhibition and the practitioners showed them around, explained the principles of Falun Dafa, described the benefits of practising Falun Dafa and exposed the brutal persecution of practitioners in China. -
Poland: Falun Gong Practitioner Zhang Cuiying held a Painting Exhibition in Warsaw and Received a Warm Response
2004-03-20Zhang Cuiying, a well-known traditional Chinese artist, ended her painting exhibition in Warsaw on the 5th of March with a notable success. Her two-day exhibition of over fifty fine paintings attracted a large audience and was reported by TVP, a national TV broadcaster, the Polish Daily, Journal and RMF-FM Radio. -
Romania: Falun Gong Practitioner Successfully Holds a World Tour of her Art Exhibition
2004-03-18On International Women’s Day, Zhang Cuiying successfully held the opening ceremony of her painting exhibition world tour in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. This is the first time that Cuiying has managed to successfully hold a painting exhibition in Romania. One lady from the Romanian National Women’s Association smiled and thanked Cuiying for bringing such beautiful things to Romania.
