Germany: The Hamme Festival Becomes a Showcase for Falun Gong and the Situation in China

Once a year, the inhabitants of Ritterhude (a small town in Northern Germany) and its surrounding towns meet to enjoy music, celebrate, search the flea market for treasures, light lanterns and to watch a big fireworks display. This year, the Falun Gong practitioners from Northern Germany also participated for three full days. -
Finland: Falun Gong Photo Exhibition Tours Lapland (Part 3)

During Spring 2005, we contacted several libraries in Lapland and made enquiries about holding a Falun Gong photo exhibition. Several librarians were interested to hold an exhibition during the spring and summer. Most of them knew about Falun Gong already and those who didn’t were interested to hold the exhibition and find out more. -
United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Participate in the Cowley Festival in Oxford

From the 10th of September, the week-long annual Cowley Festival was held in Oxford, UK. On the 17th, Falun Gong practitioners from Oxford and neighbouring cities participated in the Cowley Festival by invitation from the organising committee. Practitioners demonstrated Falun Gong exercises and gave several performances. -
Sweden: Promoting Falun Gong at a Museum in Udevalla

On Saturday September 3rd, the Adult Educational Association held open house at Bohuslans Museum in Udevalla to showcase the different courses and study circles that are included in their programme. Falun Gong was also included in their programme. Practitioners were just outside the entrance, a great spot to be seen by all the visitors as they demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises to music. They distributed pamphlets and people who wanted to sign the petition against the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China did so solemnly and sincerely. -
France: Letting People in the Sixteenth District of Paris Know About Falun Gong

On September 17th, 2005, French Falun Gong practitioners gathered signatures and talked to people about Falun Gong at the Place de Passy in the western sixteenth district of Paris. The busy streets also brought us into contact with many people who had the chance to listen to the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution taking place in China. -
Finland: Falun Gong Receives a Warm Welcome in Jyväskylä

On the 3rd and 4th of September, 2005, Falun Gong was introduced at a health fair in Jyväskylä. Around one thousand people visited the fair. Practitioners from Tampere, Turku, Kemi and Jyväskylä took part in this activity. People showed great concern for Falun Gong practitioners in China who are in the midst of a most inhuman persecution. -
France: Concert Held in Paris During the Mid-Autumn Festival to Rescue the Orphaned Children of Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners

An old Chinese saying goes, “On festive occasions more than ever one thinks of one's dear ones far away.” Falun Gong practitioners in Paris held a benefit performance and gathered signatures in the renowned Human Rights Square in Paris to get support for rescuing orphans of Falun Gong practitioners who were persecuted to death in China. -
Finland: Finnish Congress of Human Rights Commission Appeals for Attention to the Human Rights Conditions in China

On August 13th, 2005, the World Athletics Championship was heading to its final stages in the Finnish capital. A parade supporting the withdrawal of 3.6 million people from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was held in the city centre. After the parade finished, people held a rally at Esplanade Park which drew a great deal of attention. -
Germany: People at Lunen City Festival Deeply Attracted to the Principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”

On September 9th, 10th and 11th, 2005, in the old industrial area of the Ruhr, Germany, the annual Lunen City Festival was held. During this year’s festival, apart from greetings to French, Bulgarian and other minority groups who live in Germany; it was also the first time for them to see a Falun Gong stall and practitioner’s performances. -
Sweden: People Learn the Falun Gong Exercises at an Elite Gathering of Iranian Nationals

On the evening of September 11th, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend an elite gathering of Iranian nationals in Sweden’s capital Stockholm. At the gathering, practitioners introduced Falun Gong and performed a demonstration of the exercises. Many participants sensed an extremely strong energy field. -
Sweden: Helping the People of Uppsala Learn the Truth about Falun Gong

Practitioners from Uppsala held an anti-torture exhibition and Falun Gong exercise demonstration to inform local people about Falun Gong and the ongoing persecution. Large numbers of people stopped to take leaflets and sign a petition calling for an end to the human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners. -
Germany: Drawing Attention To the Orphaned Children of Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners

On Saturday, September 10th, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners attended family recreation activities in Trier, Germany, hoping to introduce local people to Falun Gong and let them know about efforts to rescue the orphans of persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in China. Children gathered at the Falun Gong information booth to learn how to fold Lotus Flowers. -
Germany: "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance” International Art Exhibition Held in Cham City

Falun Gong practitioners held a “Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance” International Art Exhibition in Cham City Hall in Germany at the beginning of September. The opening ceremony concluded after the demonstration of the five exercises. In the guest book many visitors wrote that they were deeply moved by the paintings. -
Germany: Falun Gong Is Warmly Welcomed at Hamburg Multi-Culture Festival

After winning awards in 2003 and 2004, Falun Gong was again the focus of the 2005 Hamburg Multi-Culture Festival held on September 10th. Led by bands, floats and splendid dancing groups, more than eighty civil organisations participated in the parade. The float and the Lotus Dance given by Falun Gong practitioners attracted loud applause from the crowds. -
France: Telling Chinese Tourists the Truth about Falun Gong Outside the Famous Gallery Lafayette in Paris
2005-09-18Many Chinese tourists accepted our fliers and they read them with intense interest. Some asked, “Why did Falun Gong practitioners besiege Zhongnanhai?” and “Why did they set themselves on fire?” After learning that those reports were all lies concocted by the Communist Party to frame and incite hatred towards practitioners for their own ulterior motives, they said, “We understand completely now, it was all mere propaganda.” Some even became interested in learning Falun Gong.
