They collected petition signatures to call for an immediate end to the brutal torture of Falun Gong practitioners, which has been going on for the past six years in China’s prisons and forced labour camps. -

United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Doing Morning Exercises in Cambridge Park

Cambridge has the second largest number of Chinese people in UK. There are quite a lot of Falun Gong practitioners living in the city. In the beautiful Jesus Green Park, Falun Gong practitioners have their two-hour group practise every morning. They start at 5:30 in weekdays before work and 7:30 in weekends before promoting Falun Gong. -
Turkey: Falun Gong Is Warmly Welcomed at the Mersin Festival

The 2005 Mersin Festival was held on September 17th. Located in southern Turkey, Mersin is famous for its fruit and known as the “Home of Oranges”. Turkish Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend the festivities. They drew a lot of attention from the participants and became the most prominent focus of the festivities. -
France: Activity on Place de la Porte Maillot Receives Warm Public Support

As part of a tour of Paris to let people know about Falun Gong, French Falun Gong practitioners went to Place de la Porte Maillot in the 17th district of Paris. Leaflets about Falun Gong in different languages broke the language barrier and made it very easy for people from different countries to learn about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. -

On September 24th, an annual cultural festival was held in Norrkoping, Sweden. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to take part. The practitioners introduced the practice with a demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises and let people know about the persecution through a poster exhibition and by making origami lotus flowers that people could take away with them. -

United Kingdom: British Major at Edinburgh Art Exhibition Reveals Interference by Chinese Consulate in Scotland

The first visitor was Major Brian Leishman, former organiser of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the Edinburgh Cavalcade. He commended the exhibition and remembered the year when Falun Gong won the community prize for the first time at the Cavalcade and the despicable act of the Chinese consulate demanding Falun Gong’s dismissal. -
Norway: Anti-Torture Exhibition Receives Great Support in Stavanger

On the second Saturday in September, Falun Gong practitioners in Norway arranged an Anti-Torture Exhibition in Stavanger to make people aware of the brutal persecution against Falun Gong, which has lasted six years. Today, it is confirmed that 2,781 practitioners, both old and young, have been tortured to death at the hands of the Chinese authorities.
