Twenty-two countries participated in the event, including more than 40 groups and more than 4,000 singers, dancers, and musicians. Crowds of close to 200,000 locals and visitors lined the road to watch the parade. The Falun Gong contingent stood out, as it was the only Chinese group invited to take part in the celebration. -

A day before the Mid-Summer Festival, on June 22, Ms. Jin Zhaoyu and Ms. Jin Zhaohuan were in front of the busy Helsinki Central Railway Station raising awareness of the persecution of their mother. Their mother, Ms. Chen Zhenping, was sentenced to eight years in prison because she refused to give up her belief in Falun Gong. -

Poland: Introducing Falun Dafa in Three Polish Towns

Some Chinese people came closer to the banners to read the information about the staged Tiananmen self-immolation incident and other aspects of the persecution. -
Germany: Introducing Falun Dafa in an Old Town

On July 9, Falun Gong practitioners from Bavaria, Germany, went to the historical town of Bamberg to hold a Falun Gong Information Day. They set up a booth next to the famous statue, Gabelmann-Brunnen, and raised awareness about Falun Gong to the public.
