"610 Office" Builds a New Brainwashing Centre in Pengzhou City To Persecute Dafa Practitioners

A new brainwashing centre was recently established by the "610 Office" [1]in Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners there. [1] [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems].

On May 26, Ms. Zhang Qinfang, a Dafa practitioner from the town of Li'an, had just finished an unjust and illegal term in a labour camp. Instead of being released, she was sent directly to the new brainwashing centre. This is making a mockery of the penal system! Ms. Zhang went on a hunger strike to oppose this cruelty. Director Luo Jianqiang took Zhang Qinfang out to force-feed her. When Zhang strongly refused to be force-fed, the police used force to drag her and they even tore off her underwear. When another Dafa practitioner, Ms. Tang Yunxia, came over to try to stop the policemen's brutal actions, policeman Zhang Jian beat her to the ground until she was unconscious. Afterward, Ms. Tang was sent to a mental hospital for further persecution. When Ms. Tang asked to be released, the police tried to extort money from her family, but they refused. At present, Ms. Tang is still being illegally detained in the "610 Office" brainwashing centre in Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province.

This brainwashing centre is now illegally detaining more than 20 Falun Dafa practitioners. They are not allowed any visits from family members, nor are they allowed to receive phone calls.
