By a kind-hearted person
I was looking for a job in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, but somehow I ended up spending a month in the First Forced Labour Camp's women's section. This seemingly bad luck turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as I had the chance to get to know Falun Dafa practitioners and to learn the universal principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance. I learned the truth about Falun Gong. This will benefit me for the rest of my life. The day I was freed from the jail I bowed in front of these practitioners to express my gratitude to them and their Teacher. They had taught me the universal rule that "good will be rewarded and evil will meet with retribution."
A middle-aged woman practitioner in this camp had been detained for a year because she handed out Falun Dafa materials. Last October she received a three-year sentence, but she refused to accept the sentence and appealed. I think that this was the right thing to do.
Since July 20, 1999 (beginning of persecution), not a single legal document explicitly criticized Falun Gong. In late October 1999, a Chinese leader, staying in a foreign country at the time attacked Falun Gong out of his selfish motivation. His words are not the law. The People's Congress never criticized Falun Gong. This Chinese leader and his followers used the media to lie and to mislead the Chinese people.
Dear practitioners in forced labour camps: what they are doing to you is a great injustice. The so-called crimes they have charged you with are groundless and illegal. The authorities are the real criminals. Dear Falun Gong practitioners, you are too kind. One after another you were sent to labour camps and jails to serve sentences, without due process of law. You should not allow this to happen. You should break the evil persecution and stop the government and police from continuing their unspeakable crimes.
I am also disgusted with the current leader who spends all his time arresting and torturing innocent Falun Gong practitioners while ignoring widespread real crimes, such as embezzlement, corruption, prostitution, gambling, drugs and bootlegging. China has many social problems: people are unemployed, and murder, arson and robbery are destabilizing the society. But the leader has no solution to these real social problems--all he knows is to persecute Falun Gong.
